Paul Walker, pictured above with his ‘Fast & Furious’ co-stars Nathalie Emmanuel, Michelle Rodriguez and Christopher ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, was the sexy blue-eyed action hero who became an international sensation through “The Fast & the Furious” movie franchise.

The popular actor died in a fiery car collision in Southern California on November 30, 2013. He was 40 years old.

The sad news was confirmed Saturday evening by Walker’s camp via the actor’s official social media accounts as several of the star’s friends, family & fans mourned his death.

Walker’s Fast & Furious co-stars also hit the nets to share memories and photos of the fallen actor.

It took two years in the making but “Takers” has taken over the number #1 spot in the box office. [VIEW TRAILER]

Contrary to early media reports that listed “Exorcism” as the number one movie in the country, Sony Screen Gem’s “Takers” took in $20.51 million on opening weekend, while ‘Exorcism’ pulled in a respectable $20.36 million to take the #2 spot.

Flix/Video ~ Atlanta “Takers” Movie Premiere [RED CARPET]

The Atlanta premiere of “Takers” was held yesterday (Aug. 25th) at Atlantic Station Theatres and just about all of the “A” came through to show support for the home team!

T.I. and Will Packer (Rainforest Films) were all aglow as the Atlanta loved flowed on the red carpet. Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed was in the house to announce the film and the cast members personally thanked ATL for showing love:

T.I. is starring in the upcoming “Taker’s” thriller along with Idris Elba, Michael Ealy, Matt Dillon and more. The Screen Gems film, previously entitled ‘Bone Deep,’ is a crime thriller being produced by Will Packer (‘Stomp The Yard,’ ‘This Christmas’).

Oh yeah… Chris Brown’s in it too.
