Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins have issued statements regarding the death of Michael Jackson. It’s still an emotional time for everyone and the entertainment industry is still in shock. Check out what they had to say below:
“I think everybody who knows me, knows I love me some Michael Jackson. I cannot believe that the man i jokingly call my husband, has passed away. I am beyond lucky to have met such an extraordinary human being. His God given talent was by far the most beautiful gift we’ve ever seen and probably ever will see. I don’t know when my tears will stop but I do know this, there’s only one Michael Jackson..he was and will FOREVER be The King of Pop.” ~ Chilli
“I like many other artist have had the pleasure and opportunity to work with Michael. I used to try to dance & dress like him when I was a child, so to meet him was a dream come true. He is the epitome of a true entertainer. He has changed not only the music industry but the world. His work will live forever from generation to generation. He has always been #1 and will always be. There will never be anyone during our life time that will have such an impact on our lives the way he has.” ~ T-Boz

According to That B*tch and Gossip Jacker T-Boz has some hating “A”zz friends in Atlanta. One of em has even decided to hit up some random forum and put all her business on blast. In the post, the loose lipped friend made sure he/she dropped names of some of the “A”’s musical elite such as Dallas Austin, Rico Wade, Big Rube, Jermaine Dupri, Sleepy Brown and more to obviously add authenticity to her story. We’ve all heard about T-Boz’s trials with her former hubby Mack 10, well this so-called friend of hers has dayum near written a tell-all book about Tionne’s life in Atlanta and her addiction to drama.
Now to be fair, all this could be made up bullsh*t and even if most of it’s true, we’ve all had our share of dumb mistakes with relationships. Lord knows I have…*sigh* But I decided to post it in it’s entirety simply because it was an interesting read and because I’ve been slacking on my pimpin…(insert side eye). Anywoo…anyone who grew up or lived here in the late 80’s will appreciate the time it took this fake “A”zz friend to compile all this data…Happy reading!
I’ve said this before that I went to high school with Tionne. It did not matter about her having sickle cell. She was always attracted to abusive men. She was supposed to graduate in 1988 from Campbell High School, in Fairburn, GA but she missed so many days from her hospitalizations that she graduated the next year from College Park High School. I found out later that the majority of her hospitalizations was due to her ex-boyfriend, Troy Long aka “Paco”, beating the crap out of her. It’s amazing how all of these kids ended up famous. Believe it or not, we went to school with a lot of the guys mentioned on this site. Dallas Austin transferred from Riverdale High School and went to Lakeshore High, along with Derek “Divine” Stevens.
It’s ironic how Tionne ended up in a group with Rozonda (Chili) because I remember, specifically going to a talent show at Mays High school to help Tionne find Rozonda. She wanted to whip her tail for sleeping with Troy Long.Patrick “Sleepy” Brown went to Therrell High School and he was in a dance group called “Guess”. Tionne and I met him at Jelly Beans skating rink. Tionne worked at LaMontae’s Beauty Supply on the corner of Headland and Delowe with Rico Wade. Patrick was introduced to Rico through Tionne and myself. They hooked up and started doing the music thing (funded by LaMontae who is now in prison for drugs). Rico ended up meeting Jermaine Dupree and at that time Jermaine was trying to start a girl singing group. Rico hooked Tionne up with Jermaine. Rozonda was not in the group at first. Rozonda replaced Sabrina, who went to prison for shoplifting. Tionne was a shoplifter as well between being a shampoo girl at Xcape hair salon. Tionne would go with Marie to client’s homes and met Pebbles. She complained about working with Jermaine Dupree and how he…
Awwww….how sweet! Two lovebirds taking in a Hawks game together. Takeo Spikes and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins were spotted during Game 5 of the Hawks v. Heat playoff. T-Boz has a look of pure infatuation in her eyes…either that or Takeo just said something to piss her off.
Monica filled in for V-103’s Ryan Cameron last week and did a marvelous job! During one set, she and TLC member, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins chopped it up about hating “A”zz bloggers, men and relationships. The two got into a heated discussion about how Atlanta has being bombarded by groupies and ho’s and women who will still date married or attached men. Monica goes on to say:
‘It was never OK to be a sideline, now that’s a way of life….there are alot of women who will happily date/ trick off with Rocko in a heartbeat even though he has a woman and two children and a wedding about to happen. They’re OK with that. First of all the morale is a problem…but if I catch you it’s a bigger problem!”
Monica’s been gangsta with it for a while now. Ain’t nuthin changed! Don’t mess with her man cause she ain’t havin’ it! Ho-ism is runnin’ rampant in the “A” and it needs to stop. I can totally feel where Mo & T-Boz were comin from. Especially seeing how this city has changed over the years…but some responsibility still falls on the cheatin “A”zz man!
In case you forgot, Mo even wrote a song dedicated to groupie ho’s tryna steal her man. Wanna hear it? Here it go… “You’s a ho..you’s a ho! Sideline Ho!” Check out a LIVE Monica “Sideline Ho” flashback after the jump:
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins recently hit up Essence Magazine to address recent reports of her Georgia home being foreclosed:
Well, there have been reports that a Georgia property of yours is going into foreclosure. Is that true?
T-BOZ: No, I’m not homeless. During my last marriage [to Mack 10], I had a bunch of things that were put in my name. If one of those properties is going into foreclosure then I don’t know. Although I’ve been divorced for five years, there are still a lot of things I’m dealing with on getting straight in that regard. All I know is that the house I live in with my daughter is not. When you pull up my name, my real house doesn’t show up because it’s not in my real name, because I enjoy my privacy and I’m not trying to have people be able to find me that easily.
There were also reports of you losing a home in Houston?
T-BOZ: I’ve never owned a home in Houston. I closed a store in Houston, Chase’s Closet, where I sold girls and boys clothing from infants to 12 years. The store is named after my daughter, Chase. For now, I only have the online store (chasescloset.com).
That explains the locale. Did you see the photos they had of you that were allegedly in front of your Houston home begging for donations?
T-BOZ: It’s almost a waste of energy to give an explanation, but I’ll just say that the [blogosphere] loves to make up things. I remember that photo and it was on Craiglist.com showing me holding up an
