The 2015 ESSENCE Festival® presented by Coca-Cola® was once a 3-day concert but last year, in commemoration of it’s 20th anniversary, the popular music festival turned into a 4-day extravaganza featuring performances from several of your favorite artists.

For 2015, the ESSENCE Festival® jumps off with the ESSENCE® Now Playing presents KevinHart’s WHAT NOW? Tour concert on Thursday night, July 2, 2015. Laugh along with comedian Kevin Hart, plus music from Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Trey Songz as well as Grammy Award-winning rapper, Lecrae.

The rest of The Festival will be filled with free events, surprise cameo performances, crowd pleasing DJ sets by Doug E. Fresh, plus special tribute moments to celebrate the city of New Orleans during the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina with Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.

The nightly performances will feature favorites like Kendrick Lamar, Usher, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, Charlie Wilson, Beenie Man and The Zaga Zow Band, Erykah Badu, India.Arie, Common, and many more.
