“They Shoot’en!” ~ Notorius B.I.G.

So So Def weekend wouldn’t be on & poppin without a few gunshots, would it?  Well, the “Welcome to Atlanta” party Friday night at Dreamz ended abruptly when a loud BANG was heard in the club.  Spectatators ran for cover and celebs in the VIP area were promptly shoved to safety by their bodyguards.   Word on the street is that a disgruntled party-goer pulled his weapon after being denied access to the VIP area.  He had paid at least a grip to get into the club and felt he deserved free rein.  I guess nobody schooled him on the VIP vs. the V-VIP (or the V-V-VIP) ~ somebody grab dude a copy of “Zoolander”.   Anywhoo, no one was seriously injured and the shooter is still at large.  Click Here for more photos of the event (pre-gunshots).

So So Def Weekend continued today with their celebrity basketball game held at MoreHouse College. Jermaine Dupri, Chris Tucker, Bow Wow, Larenz Tate, DJ Drama, Soulja Boy and more were in attendance. Check out more pics and video under the cut: (more…)

Jermaine Dupri kicked off So So Def weekend with his annual 50K strip off at Body Tap.  Overall they made it rain over $120,000 dollars last night.   Nelly, Rocko, Chingy and more added to the final tally, with Nelly walking around with a box full of cash.  Tonight the fun continues with a celebrity bowling tournament at 300 Bowling Alley, the “Welcome to Atlanta” party is tomorrow at Dreams, the Celebrity basketball game is at Morehouse on Saturday followed by a white party at Woodruff Arts Center and Nelly & J.D. will host the grand finale at The Velvet Room on Sunday.  This is gonna be the longest weekend ever… Body Tap Flix under the cut… (more…)
