Last August rumors swirled that Stacey Dash had gotten the ax from VH1′s popular sitcom “Single Ladies” after her diva attitude rubbed show executives the wrong way.

We knew there was a bit of truth to those rumors when co-star LisaRaye interrupted her Italian vacation to issue a response to all that talk that she was the cause of Dash’s termination.

It didn’t take long for Stacey Dash to release her own statement confirming that she was leaving the show, but stating it was her decision to leave due to her familial obligations.

After all that hoopla, a replacement has finally been chosen.
