The cast of Love & Hip Hop Miami (which includes Trick Daddy, Trina, Pretty Ricky, Gunplay, Veronica Vega, Shay Johnson and more) joined CEO of Monami Entertainment, Mona Scott-Young, for a star-studded premiere party. 
The invite only event was held at Studio23 in South Beach, Miami last night (January 1, 2018) and the event was packed with celebrity guests.

Special celebrity guests included legendary rapper Busta Rhymes, Miami Dolphins player Le’veon Bell, Karlie Redd (LHHATL), Rah Ali (LHHNY), JuJu (LHHNY), Drinking-Champs Podcast host and former rapper N.O.R.E. plus mega-producers Timbaland and Polo Da Don were spotted in the mix.

Music mogul Jermaine Dupri shared a little quality time with daughters Shaniah, Jalynn and family friend friend Taryn, as he hosted the Atlanta VIP screening of the upcoming comedy DADDY’S HOME last night (December 15, 2015).
JD and his adorable daughters all donned their “ugly” Christmas sweaters for the occasion, which was held at Regal Atlantic Station movie theatre.
Attendees also included Shay Johnson (LHHATL), Wingo (Jagged Edge), RL (Next), Priyanka Banks (Sorority Sisters), Beautii J (Cuttin It: In the ATL), Melissa Knowles (HLN), Jonica “Blu” Booth (Bad Girls Club), Bo Talley and more.

There was way too much going on this week on Atlanta’s favorite hood cult soap opera, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
Episode 8 of the popular docu-drama was filled with quite a few questionable antics i.e. DJ Tracy Steel giving love advice to Lil Scrappy’s jump off, Mimi Faust discovering her new boo wants her on his “train” when she just got off Stevie J’s “bus;” Joseline, Stevie J and Che Mack recreating the love triagle that used to include Mimi and Kirk Frost’s self imposed ‘baby mama drama’ with his wife, Rasheeda.
[Sidebar: Kirk actually told Rasheeda (again!) that it’s not too late for her to “get rid of” their unborn child and while many of you have fallen for the okie doke, I honestly believe the pair is on a mission to stack paper for their growing family by selling their souls for your entertainment.] Sad huh?

Johnson smiles as if she’s won the prize but during the Season 1 finale, Scrappy dissed her by proposing to his baby mama, Erica Dixon.
The drama hasn’t stopped Johnson from forming an alliance with Momma Dee to get her man and it’s not surprising that Scrappy is back to his side chick being that Erica put things on pause during the last episode.

Coincidentally, Dixon was spotted at the exact same event and the ring which she was so proud to flaunt in Shay’s face was noticeably absent.

The 2nd episode of the second season of our favorite hood soap opera aired last Sunday and it continues to entertain.
I don’t know if you noticed, but this season I’m determined to get more out of watching this nonsense than just my guilty ghetto pleasures … in fact, I’m hoping that LHHATL teaches us all a few life lessons (or things NOT to do).
