Rock City is the one of the most talented duos that I’ve ever come across!  Thomas & Theron Thomas, two Virgin Islands natives based out of Atlanta, are currently signed to Akon’s Interscope Records/Konvict Music and are definitely a pair to watch. I’ve attended listening parties, concerts and events with the musical duo who’ve written smash hits for The Pussycat Dolls, Busta Rhymes, Akon and more.  It has been long rumored that they are putting the finishing touches on their debut album but we’re all still anxiously awaiting the drop. In the meantime, the two have produced a mixtape, appropriately entitled, “Put the F*cking Album Out!”

Have you been sitting in long gas lines this weekend only to get to the pump and discover that the station was out of fuel?  Are you following the current presidential campaign with a microscope?  Well you still need to keep your wits about you, so I suggest you take a moment to breathe and listen to this hot new track from Rock City (brothers Timothy & Theron Thomas) called “Ride For Obama.”  You may notice a familiar beat to the song, but unlike the other “Paper Planes” remixes, this song has a message.

With our nation in economic turmoil and the government on the brink of change, the songwriting duo has listened to the struggle from the streets and has made this track for everyone who feels hopeless in these dire times. A change is needed and Rock City is putting their mic in the air for that change.
