Sheree´Whitfield from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta shares her tales of partying in the “A” way before the time restrictions were put into place. When JD’s verse from “Welcome to Atlanta” really rang true ~ “The party don’t stop til 8 in the morning…” When Club 112 was in the Kroger Shopping Center on Piedmont. When Deon Sanders played for the Falcons and had a club christened by his jersey number. When Dominique Wilkins still played for the Hawks. *sigh* Memories.
Yes…there’s still plenty of places to go party long into the wee hours of the morning, but if you’re leaving club that closes at 3am and don’t know where to go…. you’re just sh*t outta luck cause most of us ain’t gonna tell ya! <~~ I kid. but not really.
I don’t even know where to start…so I guess I’ll start at the bar. Check out a few flix and video of Keyshia Cole’s bio-mom Frankie as she was spotted playing bartender at Sheree’ Whitfield’s “divorce party” last weekend. Talk about a “Code 10/Man Down” situation…Frankie made me a drink that made my nose run and burned the back of my throat! I’m still hungover and it’s been 3 dayum days…
Frankie’s currently working on a new reality show and sent a message via video. You can peep more photos and the video below (Warning: it’s full of strong language and ALCOHOL!): (more…)
I attended a party over the weekend that was supposed to be Sheree´Whitfield’s “Brand New Me” divorce party. As it turns out, her ex-hubby, Bob Whitfield, ended up being the guest of honor! The drama started days before the soiree when Sheree´s people began sending emails to the invited guests stating the following:
Please be advised that the Official ShereeWhitfield Divorce Party has been postponed indefinitely. Any party being promoted as such is not associated with either Ms. ShereeWhitfield, nor with the Bravo Television Network. We apologize for any inconvenience, and do appreciate all of your willingness to support and attend. Thank you.
Not 10 minutes later, I received a phone call that the party was still on but apparently word was out that Sheree had been “banned” from her own party. Sources say that although that’s the word Bravo wants on the street, the truth is that she fell out with the event planners and simply said “eff it” to the bash. For some reason, she didn’t think the party planners could pull it off and didn’t want to be involved in a “star-studded” affair with no stars.
I’m with you Sheree’!
The party went off as planned, but it was like any other weekend A-Town bash. Now, don’t get me wrong…the rented mansion, the half naked men and the free food and liquor gave it a thumbs up for me. I had a helluva good time chillin at the bar with Frankie, but star-studded? I think not..
I interrupt Flashback Friday to bring you this important update about my 2nd favorite Atlanta ‘Housewife’ without a husbandSheree Whitfield. It’s being reported this morning that since dismissing her divorce appeal seeking more money from her ex-hubby, former Falcons player Bob Whitfiled, Sheree has failed to pay her attorneys almost $90,000.
The complaint, dated Feb. 2, 2009 and filed at the Superior Court of Fulton County, states that Sheree Whitfield owed $69,343.98 in principal going back to May 10, 2006. Interest on the unpaid amount, based on a monthly interest rate of 1.5%, is $17,832.93 through January 31, 2009, according to the filing.
“Plaintiff has contacted Defendant in an effort to collect said debt. Defendent’s refusal to pay said debt as agreed constitutes an act of bad faith and has caused the Plaintiff unnecessary trouble and expense, thereby entitling Plaintff to an award of its expenses of litigation, including reasonable attorney’s fees in an amount to be proven by the evidence at trial.”
Steven Montalto, the attorney representing Levine & Smith, said as of March 5, 2009, the firm has been unable to track Sheree Whitfield down to service a summons and a copy of the complaint. (Source)
