There are so many things wrong with this photo that I don’t even know where to start! I have no idea where this photo originated but it ended up in my email inbox… do you see what I see?
Seriously… WTF?!? This lil knee-grow needs Jesus and/or swift kick in the “A”zz (and you can miss me with all that ‘corporal punishment is bad’ mumbo jumbo).
It is my personal opinion that some kids deserve to to be spanked! It’s either that or some of you parents should mentally prepare to be a visitor as your grown child sits in jail on rape charges.
Some may blame the chick for tempting the adolescent munchkin with her skimpy clothing, but I don’t give a dayum if she was rocking saran wrap!
I hope in the next shot ol girl “slapped the piss” outta that lil bugger !*spoken in my Mama Evelyn voice*
Can you spot anything else wrong in this picture?

Lady GaGa and the meat dress she wore to the 2010 VMA’s sparked a slew of creativity… but I sincerely doubt she’ll want to take credit for this!

There are just some people that I would never imagine meeting at ANY function that would allow me entrance… and one of them is Bono!
I ran up on Bono and a guy that looked like his bandmate, Larry Mullin, as they were perusing the artwork at “The Next Cool Thing” event this weekend and I immediately lost all my focus. I was there supporting my BFF Interior Decorator Extraordinaire DanaT and I was no longer “ATLien” the blogger… I was Michelle the fan!!! This may be an “urban” site, but I looooves me some U2! *swoon*
If I was thinking like a blogger, I woulda pulled out the flip cam I keep in my purse for cases like this, but that wasn’t even on my mind. I was too busy telling Bono how much I admired him and all he’s done for the world and blushing because he said I was pretty. Shoot… if it wasn’t for my friend Pierre, I wouldn’t have even thought to take a picture. I was just happy to meet him.
[Sidebar: I still remember how buttery soft Bono’s black leather jacket was against my skin… and he smelled like apples! yummm! Oh wait. Maybe it was those sour apple martini’s I was smelling.]
Needless to say, this man has touched millions. Not only with is music, but with his humanitarian efforts across the globe. Bono has every right to throw Diva-tude, but he didn’t at all. He was so cool that I was almost shocked. So I do this post to thank Bono for being so gracious during my moment of groupie-ism.
I am so honored to have exchanged a few words with such an icon and will forever be touched.
Check out this cool pic as further proof that the City of Atlanta still hasn’t thawd out.
Turner Field became a popular trending topic on the social networking site twitter today, after the above photo of the “iced out” ball park hit the net. The home of the Braves resembles a hockey rink more so than a baseball park, but it should be back in the green in a week or so.
The awesome shot originated from fellow Atlantan and twitterer @JMar99. Great job Jason!

Friend in my head Freshalina posted this adorable candid shot of music mogul Jermaine Dupri headed out to dinner in L.A. with his daughter Shaniah Mauldi.
We all remember when Shaniah was a tiny tott but she’s definitely growing into a beautiful young lady. Seems like it was just yesterday that she and her dad graced the cover of Jet Magazine. My how time files…
This has got to be my FAVORITE super bowl pic yet! MVP Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints celebrates the win with his son Baylen on the field.
“We played for so much more than ourselves — we played for our city,” Brees said. “We played for the entire Gulf Coast region. We played for the entire ‘Who Dat Nation.’ “
In a record-setting performance, Brees outdueled Manning, a four-time league MVP, and was named Super Bowl MVP. The 31-year-old Saints quarterback finished 32-for-39 for 288 yards and tied the Super Bowl record for largest deficit overcome when New Orleans wiped out a 10-0 first-quarter Indianapolis lead.
Brees, who finished the game with 10 consecutive completions, set the Super Bowl record for highest completion percentage (82.1) and tied Tom Brady’s 2004 record for Super Bowl completions. Brees rallied the Saints with second-half scoring passes to running back Pierre Thomas and tight end Jeremy Shockey.
Gotta give credit where credit’s due! The Saints did THAT! So I guess now y’all can stop asking ‘Who dat’… *wishful thinking*
