Shanell aka SNL’s celebrated her birthday with a party at Club Primal in Atlanta, Georgia. She was joined by her sis D. Woods (formerly of Danity Kane) and fellow “Girls Club” member Mika Means. Of course a party wouldn’t be a party without her Young Money label mates Lil Wayne and Drizzy Drake adding to the crew.

Heidi Klum Naked in Blackface…I Mean Chocolate Syrup

I don’t believe that model Heidi Klum is a racist. I surely don’t think that anyone married to Seal could possibly be considered one, BUT these pics are questionable to say the least. Yeah.. Yeah… I know what you’re thinking. Heidi loves her some chocolate right? Hence the imagery of her silky smooth White skin being covered in it. Blah…Blah…Blah… but when I first saw these photos, which were taken for a new coffee table book dedicated to the supermodel entitled, Rankin’s Heidilicious, my thoughts went back to one of the first posts I ever did on this site about an American Apparel advertisement showing a White model in blackface. My question then was ‘Is this Art?” and I’m resurrecting the question again: Is Heidi Klum covered in dark chocolate syrup ART or merely another play on a White person being covered in Blackface?

I’ve run into him quite a few times, but never really had a real conversation until recently. It’s funny how life has a way of connecting you with people. A group of music industry Presidents and CEO’s convened on Hotel Palomar in midtown Atlanta last weekend to celebrate a reunion of sorts. L.A. Reid, Steve Bartels, Bu Thiam, Devyne Stephens, Young Jeezy, Usher Raymond, Dallas Austin and more music industry decision makers all joined each other for an evening of fine dining at the hotel’s Pacci Ristorante for the annual “Dinner With The President”.
