NEWSFLASH! The mother of Philando Castile, a black motorist killed by a Minnesota police officer last year, has reached settlement with the city of St. Anthony, Minnesota regarding his death.
The shooting gained widespread attention after Castile’s girlfriend, who was in the car with her then-4-year-old daughter, livestreamed its gruesome aftermath on Facebook.

The 32-year-old elementary school cafeteria worker was killed by St. Anthony officer Jeronimo Yanez during a traffic stop July 6 after Castile told the officer he was armed. Castile had a permit for his gun.

NEWSFLASH! Beyoncé took a stand against police violence today.
In a post via her website, ‘Queen B’ asked that her fans reach out to their local legislators and voice protest for the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

Another day, another police shooting.
This time, it was in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, near Minneapolis.
The victim’s name is Philando Castile, and he was reportedly shot dead after being stopped for having a busted tail light.
In the car with him was his girlfriend (Diamond “Lavish” Reynolds), who live-streamed the shooting on Facebook and her young daughter.
