In this new remix of Monica’s chart topping single, “Everything to Me,” the voice of Notorious B.I.G. is reincarnated over an old school beat. Producer Missy Elliott remixes the song with a verse from Biggie’s “I Love the Dough” off 1997’s Life After Death.
112 is reportedly back in the studio grinding it out for a 2010 reunion album, so it’s only fitting that I do a flashback to their days at Puffy…P.Diddy…Diddy’s Bad Boy label.
Their first single, “Only You” featured The Notorious B.I.G. and Ma$e and was a Top 20 in both the Pop and R&B charts. 112’s self-titled debut album hit platinum sales and is still in rotation on the “A”pod today. That 1st Biggie line always gets me:
