Ne-Yo has just released his newest video for his next single “Mad” from Year of the Gentleman. It’s quite insightful…almost makes me wanna make up with a few folks before they die. Nevermind…on second thought I’ll be better off waiting. Some things are better left unsaid.
The 2008 American Music Awards aired live last night and if you missed it…you really didn’t miss much. Most of the noteworthy performances, (i.e. Beyonce) were full copies of their video routines and others were simply so-so.

Monica, Ne-Yo, Gabrielle Union, Essence Atkins and more were spotted at the Atlanta leg of the “How Sweet the Sound” gospel competition. The Verizon Wireless sponsored event was held Saturday and was host to some of the nations best church choirs. Mo… you are ROCKIN’ that new doo girl!! 
Ne-yo held a combination Birthday/After-party Saturday night at Atlanta’s Mason Murer Fine Arts gallery. The Cirque du Soleil themed birthday bash was the first stop for all the celebs in town for the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards, which was held earler that evening. The scenary was amazing! Guests were greeted at the entrance by a man with a machete and a naked lady in body paint and the liquor flowed as circus acts were performed in every corner.
The red carpet was also booming as several “A” list celebs made their way into to venue immediately following the awards show. The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Chingy, Gorilla Zoe, La La Vasquez, D. Woods, Bow Wow and more all took part in Ne-Yo’s birthday celebration. Jermaine Dupri even ditched his own venue (Studio 72) to make a brief appearance.

I love this song…the original and the remix but it’s funny how guys can be soooo gullible. Jamie Foxx sings that he loves a woman who can get the bill every now and can do it for herself…“makes me wanna give her my wealth…” Ha! Golddiggers take notes… Step 1 - Pretend you are independant.

While you were chillin on your sofa, Ne-Yo held a private pool party at Nikki Beach in France this weekend. From the looks of these pics…you probably had a better time.
