It’s been almost 2 months since Natina Reed
, the young singer from the R&B group Blaque, was struck & killed on a dark stretch of highway in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
Reed, 32, died on October 26, 2012, two days shy of her 33rd birthday and no charges were filed against the driver who accidentally struck her with his automobile.
Natina’s funeral was held November 3, 2012 in Lithonia, Georgia. Now that the smoke has cleared and Reed has been laid to rest, her mother, Dr. Tamara Goodridge, is speaking up to clarify a bit of misinformation surrounding her death.

Actress/Singer Natina Reed of the group Blaque was finally laid to rest last weekend and it was her son’s father, rapper Kurupt, who footed the bill for the funeral services.

Investigators are still trying to piece together details surrounding the talented 32 year old singer’s death, after she was struck & killed on a dark stretch of highway in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
Other than the driver (who was not charged) and a passenger in the car, no additional witnesses have come forward.
Oddly enough, the incident report listed Reed’s address as 7065 Jimmy Carter Blvd., which is the address of an extended stay motel in Norcross, and many have speculated that she may have been homeless at the time of her death.

Investigators are still seeking answers to questions surrounding the death of R&B singer Natina Reed
Reports surfaced online early Saturday morning that the former ‘Blaque’ group member had been killed in a hit-and-run as she walked home from a store.

Reports of Reed being the victim of a hit-and-run accident were soon discredited by Gwinnett County authorities police, who confirmed that the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident stopped, called 911, and also rendered aid to Reed after the incident.
A passenger in the vehicle was also witness to the bizarre accident, that occurred on a dark stretch of Georgia highway. Continue Reading…

Natina, forever scarred by the image of her happy naps and pursed lips, attempted to prove she cleans up well, but apparently that wasn’t enough.

Reed got a chance to clean up her mugshot portfolio earlier this week when she was busted in Atlanta on charges stemming from her use of alcohol.

Meet Natina Reed, 29. Reed was arrested in DeKalb County, Georgia on April 13th and charged with violating the open container laws and disorderly conduct.
She was released the next day (April 14) on a $420 bond, which she paid in cash.
Reed may or may not look familiar to you but she was once a member of the semi-successful girl group, Blaque, which consisted of vocalist, Shamari Fears, song-writer, Brandi Williams, and rapper, Natina Reed.
