The 2008 Dirty Awards were held in Atlanta last night and the event, although star-studded, was less than spectacular. The show, presented by Radio One’s Hot 107.9, ended up being a Hot “A”ss Mess as police had to break up fighting amongst some of the performers. Prior to the fighting, several Atlanta A-listers like Goodie Mob’s Big Gipp + Khujo Goodie, Monica, Soulja Boy, Gorilla Zoe and more were spotted glammed up for the red carpet:

The event was marred by a fight that broke out presumably between Shawty Lo’s posse and T.I.’s clique. Shawty Lo performed and I’m told his ad libs took jabbs at T.I. and his crew. Once Yung LA and T.I. took the stage to perform “Ain’t I,” T.I.’s ending message didn’t sit well with some of Shawty Lo’s Bankhead crew in the audience and bottles and fists flew. Monica, Ne-Yo, Gabrielle Union, Essence Atkins and more were spotted at the Atlanta leg of the “How Sweet the Sound” gospel competition. The Verizon Wireless sponsored event was held Saturday and was host to some of the nations best church choirs. Mo… you are ROCKIN’ that new doo girl!!

Awwww! How cute is this?? Monica & Rocko’s babies, Romelo and Lil Rocko posed for pics before going trick or treating Friday. Romelo couldn’t get his Spiderman mask on over all that hair and Lil Rock looks like he’s about to send out the Bat signal. Adorable!
Monica and Rocko were spotted all boo’d up at the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards. Ms. Arnold was rocking a new doo that had EVERYONE in awe! Love it!!!

Monica and her two adorable sons (Romello & Rocko, Jr.) were spotted out on the scene in L.A. recently. Lil Rock is already setting trends and reinventing himself at only 3 years old. He recently cut off his braids and has a whole new swag! Love it! Monica’s clothing line for kids, Regions of Rock, will also be launching soon and Lil Rock could be headed for the fashion shoot. Who needs models when you have two cute kids!

There was a whole lot going on in the “A” this weekend! Monica and Ludacris hit up V-103’s For Sisters Only event and performed my anthem for 2008, “Still Standing.” Yung Joc also held his birthday party at 595 North.
