Philadelphia Eagles QB Micahel Vick just got the best endorsement ever!
Vick, who was once named “The Most Disliked Person in Sports” has been slowly gaining support during his road to redemption, but now he’s getting it from the leader of the free world, President Barack Obama!
The Prez made a phone call recently that basically seals the deal on Vick’s comeback.
Yup… you read right!
The PRESIDENT of the effing United States of America went out of his way to publicly praise a man who, 3 1/2 years ago, many thought would never again play in the NFL.
Even the most ardent believers in Vick could never have fathomed a turn-around like this. Continue Reading…

It’s so great to witness the comeback of quarterback Michael Vick! And please believe… that while he may still be on some people’s “most hated” list, he’s still tops amongst many of his NFL peers.

After sitting out the last two games, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick may have just lost his starting job to the guy’s job he took after one week in the NFL season, Kevin Kolb.
Vick suffered a rib cartilage injury against the Washington Redskins, which forced Kolb to finish that game and start the next two games against the San Francisco49ers and the NFC South leading Atlanta Falcons.
Kolb has been great since taking over Vick with a 253 yard, one touchdown performance against the 49ers and a very impressive 326 yard, three touchdown performance this Sunday against the Falcons.
Now, the question in Philadelphia is, do we have another quarterback controversy?
Eagles head coach Andy Reid has made his commitment to Vick before these two performances by Kolb, but will it be enough to keep Kolb as the starter for the Eagles? (source)
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has officially been ruled out for Sunday’s game in San Francisco, meaning Kevin Kolb will get the start in his place.
Vick suffered cartilage damage in addition to a small fracture in his rib area in last Sunday’s loss to Washington.
The injury took place while he was scrambling toward the goal line late in the first quarter and got sandwiched between two defenders…. (source)
According to Jonathan Tamari of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eagles head coach Andy Reid made it clear that Michael Vick will remain the starting quarterback.
Vick suffered a rib cartilage injury in Sunday’s game against their division rival Washington Redskins.
Eagles and Vick fans were looking to see if opening day starter Kevin Kolb would take the starting position back from Vick since he lost the starting job to an injury in Week 1 but that looks like it’s not going to happen.
Vick has been nothing short of amazing this season. He brought the Eagles back from a 20-3 deficit against the Packers but came up short losing 27-20. Vick then won two straight games against the Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars before suffering from the rib injury in the first quarter of the Redskins game.
Reid has no reason to go back to Kolb, especially since Kolb has played awful when called upon this season. This job is Vick’s to lose and the way he’s been playing, it doesn’t look like he’ll lose this job anytime soon and Reid seems to feel the same way...(source)
