Columbia Records held a celebration last night to announce Maxwell’s long-awaited new album “BLACKsummers’night.” The highly anticipated trilogy will consist of three seperate discs to be released over the course of three years starting this year. The first disc is scheduled to drop July 7th. After a 7 year hiatus, Maxwell is now 35 years old, he’s seasoned and he’s cut his signature locks, but his silky sexy voice remains the same.
