I’m sure you’ve heard about all the drama that unfolded Saturday evening at the Civic Center but just in case you haven’t let me give you a brief summation: The Alpha Phi Alphas from Central State University won it for the men in the fraternity competition, while Zeta Tau Alpha, an all white sorority from Arkansas beat the prim and proper AKA’s from Indiana in a major upset.
That’s all. There’s really nothing else you need to know. Well… besides the fact that the crowd of historically Black fraternities (i.e. The “Divine 9″) didn’t take too kindly to the win. You could have literally heard a pin drop as Ludacris, the evening’s host, prepared to announce the 2nd place winner.

Chris Brown performed at Chastain Park in Atlanta last night and pretty boy Lloyd (one of the few still rockin braids) was one of the opening acts. I know most of you guys were gettin your party on, but for those of you who took the time to take the kiddies to Chastain…I praise you! I’m sure your eardrums are still recovering from all those screaming teeny-bopper C-Breezy fanatics as mine are recovering from too much Miami bass!
