Happy Flashback Friday people! DJ Nabs toured the world for years with Kris Kross and has several old school videos over on his YouTube channel. Check out Kris Kross, Jermaine Dupri and DJ Nabs appearing on the Arsenio Hall Show…Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly still had all his hair and Jermaine did too.

Also here’s the link to the actual interview where someone’s BEEPER when off onstage during the show and Arsenio calls em out. Hell naw! What year was this? Dayum I feel old.

I caught up with Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly of Kris Kross this weekend at his sprawling Atlanta estate in South Fulton county. Kelly, who was recently photographed by a fan while chillin at Piedmont Park sought to dispel several internet rumors that he is broke and that he has Cancer or Lukemia. The answers in a nutshell? Yes…he still wears his pants backwards. Yes…he has bald spots. No…he doesn’t have Cancer or Leukemia. Yes…he has alopecia which has caused his hair loss…and NO…he’s not broke!

The former Kris Kross-er has started an independent label called C.CO.Records and says he’s also in school to be an engineer. Music has always been a part of his life and he wants everyone to know he’s doing quite well despite what you may have read!

Just in time for flashback Friday, I spotted these pics of Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly over at Concrete Loop:

A CL Reader spotted former Kris Kross member Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly, 30, at Piedmont park in ATL earlier this week. The former 90s rap star, was just chilling and enjoying the atmosphere. He was still rocking his pants backwards like he did in the 90s. (UPDATED): According to various sources he has Alopecia Areata that’s why he is balding in certain areas.

As of 2007, the group supposedly reunited and are currently working on different projects with Jermaine Dupri. & word is he has his own label called C.co records. No word on what his former group member Chris “Daddy Mac” Smith is doing.
