Comedian Katt Williams, who was recently arrested and charged with burglarizing a home in Newnan, has been released on $41,000 bond. The 34-year-old was arrested in suburban Atlanta, Georgia Sunday, November 8th after allegedly breaking into a house located in Newnan, about 38 miles southwest of Atlanta and stealing $3,555 worth of jewelry and collectible coins. He was said to be holding a crowbar when he entered the building.

Katt is NOT holding his tongue about the incident as he tells television news reporters recently that the charges are absolutely absurd, adding that he never resulted to stealing when he was homeless and he certainly wouldn’t do it now that he’s a multi-millionaire! Katt, who’s staying at the home while filming “The Obama Effect” in Newnan, has also been accused of holding a 17 year old boy hostage just days prior to the burglary arrest. I don’t know how old this video is, but Katt Williams states in it that it’s his final interview.  He drops a few hints that he’s retiring from comedy and takes jabs at Jermaine Dupri for not visiting Da Brat in jail. Katt says he stands by Da Brat and if she gets hurt or killed in jail it’s all JD’s fault. *scratching head*  I don’t get it…

Katt Williams Admitted to Mental Facility (Video)

So many rumors have been going around about comedian Katt Williams that I initially didn’t believe it when I read that he’d been admitted into a psychiatric hospital.  First he was missing, then some said he’d died in a car crash, this latest rumor turned out to be true.  Williams, while visiting relatives in South Carolina, was admitted to Tuomey Medical Center for evaluation after relatives say he was “acting bizarre”:

The report quoted Sumter Police Department Maj. Perry Herod as confirming that police responded to a call about Williams on Friday morning at the Mount Vernon Inn.

“And officers did talk with him, and then my understanding is he went on his own to Tuomey Hospital,” Herod said, according to TheItem.com. The hospital would not provide any information on whether Williams was treated there.

MTV.com posted this statement from Williams’ spokesperson Yvette Shearer: “Following an arduous 300 shows and an 18-month touring schedule that left him incredibly fatigued, Katt, a veteran of MTV’s ‘Wild ‘N Out,’ felt compelled to be with his family in an effort to deal with his stress. While doing so, he is under a doctor’s care.” (Source)

Comedian Micah “Katt” Williams and members of his entourage were arrested yesterday in New York for gun possession. Almost two years to the day of his arrest for the same charges at the LAX airport.  The comedian had been a no-show for an appearance of “Late Night with Conan O’Brian” the night before which sparked rumors that he was missing.  

The 35-year-old performer was released on $250,000 bail, just minutes before a performance at Carnegie Hall last night.

“You’ll have to forgive me,” he said after taking the stage. “I know I’m moving slower than my normal pace, but I just got out of jail.”

The rush to make the show came after his Conan no-show Wednesday, which forced the TV host to ad-lib for about seven minutes.

Then at around 1:30 a.m. yesterday, cops said they saw a Cadillac belonging to Williams parked in Chelsea without license plates.

When the officers approached, two men started backing away and one said, “I have nothing to do with what’s in that car,” law-enforcement sources said.

Police found three guns in the Cadillac and a loaded weapon in Williams’ Mercedes bus, which was parked behind it, sources said. None of the guns was registered. (Source)

It seems like crazy rumors surface every other day about Katt Williams and now this knee-grow is bringing them all to fruition. I’m soooo disappointed in him right now.  How many times you got to get arrested before you figure out that you need to change something??
