Check out a brief preview of Kanye West’s new Comedy Central show called Alligator Boots. The show is billed as a “Hip-Hop Muppet Show” and will be produced by Jackhole Prods., the production company founded by Jimmy Kimmel, Daniel Kellison and Adam Carolla that was also behind Comedy Central’s puppet-centric “Crank Yankers.”
The project, which is under consideration for 2009, would feature music produced and performed by West and fellow rapper Rhymefest, both of whom are serving as executive producers on the pilot alongside Kellison. West also hosts the pilot; the idea is to have a different celebrity guest host for every episode, similar to the setup on the original “Muppet Show.” Kimmel’s brother Jon (“South Park”) is co-exec producer on the pilot. Kanye West had a hissy fit at the airport yesterday and decided to do a “smash & grab” on a photographers camera. Of course, being that it was September 11th didn’t help the situation.
West was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and battery, after an altercation with the paparazzi allegedly resulted in more than $10,000 in broken camera equipment. West’s manager was also arrested.
An eyewitness described the scene for E! News: “Some time before 8, Kanye and a big posse arrived at the terminal. He got out and a bunch of paparazzi were swirling around him… Kanye had on a hoodie and was trying to get inside the American Airlines check-in area. The paparazzi got close and one of the Kanye security guys got into it with a paparazzi guy. It was a quite a scene and cops came. This all happpened while his security was whisking him into the terminal…He hadn’t made it to security. It was just a mess.” (Source)
Kanye has since been released and in true superstar fashion departed on his private jet! Like he really gives a dayum about all you mortals… 😆
I dunno bout this one. The performance was OK and I’m sure it was spectacular in person, but the studio version of the song just doesn’t really do it for me. Maybe if I listen to it 50-eleven more times it’ll grow on me…
Kanye West closed out the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards last night by performing his first single from his upcoming “A Good A*s Job” project. Billed as an “Explosive Finish” to the awards, the song, called “Love Lockdown” has Kanye doing a T-Pain by converting to a Rapper turnt Sanger and using the auto-tune feature on his voice. It was definitely something different for Kanye! If you missed it or just want to see it again…check out the video: Continue Reading…
Kanye didn’t even bother to show up for his video for “Champion”…instead he sent a muppet to do a man’s job. Fortunately…the muppet showed out! Ha! Love it. Props to Kermit & Miss Piggy for letting their adopted son play Kanye in the flick! 😆
