Lil IkeBow Wow held his New Jack City II album release party and MySpace concert last night in NYC. He and Jermaine Dupri hit the stage immediately following Dondria and totally rocked the pre-pubescent crowd of screaming youngsters. Bow Wow even shed his shirt and flexed his lil muscles to the approval of the crowd.
Usher is back up in the studio grinding with Jermaine Dupri after partying like a rock star in Paris last week. I’m assuming they’re putting their heads together to come up with a new and improved formula for the next album but first things first…Usher’s bringing out the old “U” chain for inspiration:
They say…the reason Usher issued that apology after he made remarks about Chris Brown not showing enough remorse for beating Rihanna’s ass is because he received a phone call from young Chris telling him, “I’m going to see you bitches” implying that Ursh, Jermaine and Johnta were all going to get CB’d the next time Chris caught them in the streets.
Just FYI, CB’d is the new slang for beating somebody down…and they all should be skerred. Chris is way bigger than ALL them knee-grows! 😆
Jermaine Dupri, B-Cox and InTynational respond to several questions. The first being ~ why did they take down the video where Jontae Austin and Usher clowned Christina Milian & Chris Brown. Oddly enough the two main culprits are suspicously absent from this recent episode. Hmmmmm….*scratching head* 😕
We all knew it was coming. Usher punked out on the statements he made during one of Jermaine Dupri’s video blogs. During the vid, Jontae Austin clowns Christina Milian’s new blonde look and then goes hard in on Chris Brown and Rihanna. Usher is spotted in the video co-signing with Austin who shows him photos of Chris chilling in Miami on Jet Skis and says, “I’m a little disappointed in this photo. C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on Jet Skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”
After the video spread like wildfire on these mean internet streets, JD quickly deleted it from his YouTube account and Usher issued the following statement:
I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.
The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.
Out of context?!? Ok..well we might have believed that if the video wasn’t ALL OVER THE INTERNET! Duh! I personally think that Usher wasn’t the villian in this situation…Jontae Austin was the actual songbird. Usher’s measly comments weren’t even an issue to me. I did feel as though all of those GROWN “A”zz men could have taken a bit more responsibility and not posted the video. People can say what they want behind closed doors but once you post it for the world to see you can quite possibly be held accountable.
Usher obviously doesn’t want to burn any bridges. Who knows? He may need a Chris Brown endorsement one day.
