Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of Atlanta shared a few flashback photos earlier today (May 17, 2012).
In the first photo (above) Kandi poses with R&B crooner Keith Sweat and her former girl group Xscape, which consisted of Tameka “Tiny” Harris and sisters LaTocha & Tamika Scott.

Please don’t hold your breath waiting for that Xscape reunion though. Kandi has publicly said (on more than one occasion) that there will NEVER be an Xscape reunion because of too much bad blood between a few of it’s members.

Iconic rapper Heavy D
, aka Dwight Arrington Myers, passed away on November 8, 2011
and the hip-hop world went into mourning.

There were several conflicting reports about his cause of death and the 44 year old rapper’s untimely passing was blamed on everything from heart failure, to weight issues to pneumonia (since friends confirmed he’d been suffering from a cough).

The family of legendary rapper Heavy D,
has issued their first official statement regarding his sudden death.
The rapper, whose real name is Dwight Myers, will be laid to rest on Friday, November 18th, following an open memorial service on Thursday afternoon that will allow fans to pay their final respects to the late rapper/actor in his hometown Mount Vernon.
Grieving relatives of the fallen star released their first official statement regarding his death on Monday:
Hev had great love for his family and friends; he was a kind and giving spirit who extended and shared himself with everyone who crossed his path. He had a heart of gold, was approachable, very personable and gave of himself willingly and unconditionally.
Though Hev will most notably be remembered for his work both behind-the-scenes and in the forefront, he will always be remembered by us as a generous soul who remained humble and unselfish till his final days. Continue Reading…
