I occaisionally check up on my favorite peeps and wondered about Griffy2Trillion the former leader of Hot 107.9’s A-Team. I got a pleasant surprise in my inbox yesterday confirming that Arlen “Griff” Griffin is still on the grind but he’s far far away from the “A.”  Griff, the ruff voiced comic who woke up most of Atlanta’s working hip-hop heads is now chillin on a morning show in NEW ZEALAND! I know times is hard…but dayum! You gotta go overseas for work now-a-days??? Oh…and please take notes of what the aussies put Griff through on his first day of work…. (more…)

Comedian Griff aka Griffy2k/Griffy2Trillion (real name: Arlen Griffin), former host of Hot 107.9’s “The A Team Morning Show” recently sent out an update for all his fans.  The comedian, who was abruptly let go August 28th states that he is still on the grind and walking in his faith:

To keep yall in the loop or the ‘know’ … Im just being STILL … I have a Radio Agent in Seattle, WAS… So Im just waiting for him to do what he does … Still doing Comedy …been in and out of town ..and just really ‘Being Still’ to see what the LORD has for me next.  What Ive noticed in this time of clarity is that GOD is not like man …if he says something …its done …I often laugh at people who keep praying about the same thing …to me its almost like you dont believe The LORD heard you the first time (and now youre bothering him) …Im being silly but you know what I mean.

What Ive learned is that his Promise is HIS Promise …its no one elses…. (More)
