Tamar Braxton is catching a ton of flack lately for comments she made about Rihanna.
Braxton spoke with 105/1’s Angie Martinez in a recent interview and shared her feelings about Rihanna walking off with a Grammy for her “Unapologetic” album, stating:
She doesn’t sing R&B music. She’s a pop star. I had an issue with that a little bit. I love her [though]. Glad she won.
While Tamar attempted to clean up the comment by proclaiming her love for Rihanna, she also managed to throw quite a bit of shade, proclaiming that Rihanna’s music isn’t ‘soulful’ enough to for an R&B Grammy win.
It’s called Rhythm and Blues. Ribs and Barbecue. It’s not pop pop pop tat uh tat tat tat. It’s soulful. That’s R&B.
Every song of hers I’ve gotten my complete and utter life to… twerking. I’m just saying. I love her; I’m one of her biggest fans period, but that’s not R&B music.

In case you haven’t heard, Miss Keri Baby was viciously attacked by a few hardcore Beyonce fans as she was getting her drink on during the New Year’s eve festivities. Sources say the Beyonceites were yelling obscenities to Keri because of the remix of Turnin’ Me On and all hood came out of Keri as she fought to contain her composure after several glasses…um errr bottles of Nuvo.
Keri Hilson may have thrown her middle finger up to Beyonce STANS last week in Miami, but she’s been on her best “Grammy” behavior ever since.

In his rant, Nash addressed feeling snubbed by the fact that he didn’t get nominated for best album of 2009, although he is nominated in Song of the Year and Best R&B Song categories, thanks to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” which he wrote with Thaddis Harrell, Beyonce and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.
