Tameka Raymond should be breathing quite a bit easier these days since all of the Michael Jackson drama has taken a bit of the spotlight off of her and Usher’s pending divorce…but I’m still following when I can. Recently, Tameka filed an answer to Usher’s divorce petition. In her response, Meka claimed that she was totally caught off guard by his filing of the divorce and was under the impression that things between them was just peachy. In court documents filed Monday in Fulton County Superior Court Meka claims that she “had every reason to believe her marriage was intact” and that two were “intimately together as husband and wife as recently as June 6.”
In Usher’s petition, he requests joint custody of the pair’s two young sons, Usher Raymond V, 1, 1/2 and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 6 months. But regardless of custody requests, word on the street is that Usher’s questioning the paternity of his youngest son and seeks answers. (more…)
Atlanta bred comedian Shawty (What Yo Name Is) seems a lil bit upset that comedian Lil Duval has transplanted into Atlanta and “stolen his swag.” Not only is he mad, but he has challenged Lil Duval to a battle to prove who’s the funniest between the two short men. Now…if you from the “A” you know that Shawty’s been around a looooong “A”zz time. Hell, his shawt “A”zz has been everywhere…he was even spotted chillin in Nelly’s infamous Tip Drill Video. Shawty’s quick to admit that he may not be the funniest comic in the world but says he definitely can hold his own against Lil Duval and will put his own money up to prove it:
“I got $30,0000….tell him to put up $30,000. Winner take all. (For what?) A comedy battle. We can do it. We could do a reality show. It could be skits, jokes and the real sh*t in the club… Hood like! Or we could just go straight up on the stage goddammit!”
Shawty says he’s got that CASH money waiting but feels that Lil Duval is NOT gonna go for it. From listening to his rant, there seems to be a lil funnyman beef going on. Shawty is a really funny dude and so is Lil Duval. I’d pay good money to see these two battle it out and I rarely pay for anything.

Tameka Foster Glover Raymond committed a huge twitter error recently when she accidentally sent Star Jones a tweet that was meant as a Direct Message. In the message, Meka revealed that she was not happy with her current divorce attorney, Randall M. Kessler, and asked Star Jones for a bit of advice. Moments after realizing her mistake, Tameka sought to erase it but it was too late.

One would think that Foster would have Twitter mastered by now, as she regularly uses the social networking site to misquote Bible verses and affirmations lifted from various spiritual gurus.
Over the last six months, Foster also used Twitter to mislead followers about the state of her relationship with the ‘Confessions’ singer.
She implied all was well with random Tweets about Usher going to the grocery store and the couple allegedly sending love messages back and forth while he was shooting the movie ‘Five Killers’ with Ashton Kutcher. ~ Jawn Murray

Word on the streets is that Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri may have have parted ways:
The National Enquirer says Jackson and Dupri, who have been together for four years and were reportedly pondering marriage, began battling over her recent tour — managed by Dupri — which was a dismal failure, with a string of canceled concerts due to poor ticket sales. The Enquirer, citing unnamed sources, said the fading superstar, 36, has moved out of Dupri’s Los Angeles home.
“Janet and Jermaine finally hit a wall,” the source was quoted as saying. “They were fighting over his management of her career. In the end, she decided to make a break.” (source)
Fortunately for JD, if the breakup rumors are true, Janet will forever be close to him. Well…at least until he decides to cover up that new tatt. I’ve always heard that when you get your boo’s name tatted it on you, it’s a recipe for disaster. Something about the curse of the tatt. A common saying amongst tattoo artists is that “the name tattoos of today are the cover-up jobs of tomorrow.” Well, if a name tatt brings bad karma to a good relationship, I wonder what a superstar’s face turned into the image of the Virgin Mary could bring. Could it have been Jermaine’s tatt that ruined their relationship? Hmmm…
You may or may not know who Teyana Taylor is but if you decide to Google Her you can get the 411. The socialite/songstress recently hit the net swinging after being called a Rihanna clone when photographed chillin with Chris Brown. Of course, WE all know Teyana’s swag is nowhere near identical to Rihanna’s but that’s beside the point. One thing’s for sure the girl’s got chops. She really CAN sing and has made a brief video to prove it. Sooner or later you WILL respect Teyana’s authority!!

Dorion Standberry from BET’s College Hill Atlanta woke up this morning to a ton of drama (and a ton of free publicity). In case you missed it, Dorion’s Twitter page was hacked by a disgruntled lover/ex-boyfriend/stalker who released a ton of celebrity phone numbers and addresses. as well as Dorion’s butt booty naked pics.
I’m of the mindset that Dorion did this sh*t himself. The former BET reality celeb left the confines of Atlanta, Georgia for bigger and better things in L.A. LA land. It’s a totally different world in hollyweird and most have to do crazy things to stand out from the crowd. All graduates of the college of self-promotion have either leaked a sex-tape, naked booty pics or both, so pretty soon Dorion will be way ahead of the game. We’ll probably see him chillin with the Kardashian’s or posted up with Ray-J at the Ivy in about 5…4…3…2…
