Check out Gorilla Zoe’s official music video for “What It Is” featuring Rick Ross and Kollosus. Gorilla Zoe’s sophmore album Don’t Feed Da Animals is in stores now!
Gorilla Zoe was joined by all of his celebrity friends Monday evening at the viewing of his new film “Don’t Feed Da Animals.” Super producer Drumma Boy, Rocko, Shawty Lo, V-103’s Greg Street and more were spotted at the ATLMovies Theatre at Camp Creek during the premiere of the film. The flick, a joint venture between The Raw Report and Block Ent., is a mini-drama that shows Zoe’s transitional struggle from being Alonzo Mathis to rap star “Gorilla Zoe”.
The feature length film is also comprised of five music videos from Zoe’s newly released CD, including “Talk Back”, “Hood Rich”, “I Am Atlanta”, “Break It Down” and “Dope Boys”.
I love me some Gorilla Zoe! His “Don’t Feed Da Animals” cd drops tomorrow (March 17th) and I suggest you cop that. I’ve heard it all and it’s that ish! Of course Diddy couldn’t let a hot track pass him by without jumping on it. So check out the remix of Zoe’s “Echo”…
I caught up with Gorilla Zoe at the Atlanta Zoo last week during his”Don’t Feed The Animals” listening session. He shared his Old School Atlanta Memories or well…actually he shared a list which included Atlanta during the Olympics, the Braves championships seasons and of course Willie B ~ our infamous Gorilla.
Gorilla Zoe held his ‘Don’t Feed The Animals’ listening party last night and a surprisingly fun location…The Atlanta Zoo! Zoe and Block Ent. took over the Gorilla observatory area as they treated the crowed to a preview of his hot new CD.
The Gorillas observed us instead of the other way around…
Zoe and D. Woods lookin all lovey dovey….
Gorilla Zoe grabbed the mic for an impromptu performance of a new song, “Echo”. Video below:
Gorilla Zoe likes girls who like girls and he likes to sing about it. In his new song “I Like Dem Girls” produced by Drumma Boy from his upcoming Don’t Feed The Animals project, Zoe lays it down once again with his gruff vocals and it actually works. I’m getting a Prince circa 1989 feel to this track. I can only imagine the video. I’m picturing Wendy & Lisa on the keyboards and a newly slimmed down Gorilla Zoe in backless pants and purple ruffles. I kidd…I kidd!
Check it out below and let me know what you think:
Luckie Food Lounge is always off the chain on Wednesday’s but last night Block Ent’s Gorilla Zoe’s birthday bash had the spot almost poppin at the seams! As you read this, I’m probably still recuperating from all the bottle poppin. So in the meantime, please enjoy a mini montage of Zoe’s festivities below:
