Sean “Diddy” Combs and his Dirty Money clique (Dawn Richard & Kalenna) performed on Good Morning America today (June 4th).

The group performed “Hello Good Morning” and a snippet medley of past hits, including “Last Night” (with Dawn and Kalenna singing Keyshia Cole’s part), “It’s All About the Benjamins (Remix)” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.”  Que, formerly of Day26, appeared on stage for background vocals during the medley.

During the brief interview segment, Diddy revealed that “Last Train to Paris” will be dropping in the “fall, late summer,” which contradicts the announced and promoted release date of June 28th.  I guess it’s been pushed back….

Snippet number two of Rihanna‘s 20/20 interview with Dianne Sawyer aired on Good Morning America this morning. In this clip, Rihanna discusses the actual beating incident in the car and gives details about how the fight actually started.  As detailed in the police report, Rihanna admits to reading the text messages on Chris Brown’s phone from another girl. An argument ensued and… well… you know the rest.

“It escalated to him being violent towards me and… it was ugly.” She later described the look in Brown’s eyes as he beat her, “All I kept thinking the whole time was ‘when is it going to stop? when is it going to stop?’ He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank. He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him.”

A portion of Rihanna‘s 20/20 interview with Dianne Sawyer aired on Good Morning America this morning amidst all the hoopla about it being in her first televised interview since being battered by former boyfriend Chris Brown. In an emotional sit down with Dianne Sawyer, Rih Rih explains how she feels obligated to speak out about the incident in hopes of letting other women going through the same situations know they are not alone:

“There are a lot of women who experienced what I did, but not in public. I just felt like ‘Oh my God, here goes my little bit of privacy. Here I am the whole world knowing.’”

The pop star said how it was “embarrassing” that Brown was the type of person she fell in love with.

So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It’s humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It’s a traumatizing experience…

Whitney Houston performed a recent live appearance in New York earlier this morning. The free show was held at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield and was a pre-taping for ABC’s Good Morning America. Houston’s highly anticipated comeback CD, I Look To You, dropped today as well and the live show was attended by at least 4,000 fans, some of whom had been in line since the previous night.  Some fans were sadly disappointed in the performance as Whitney’s voice cracked during one song and she was also out of breath. Whitney apologized, and basically blamed Oprah for her voice (or lack thereof):

Houston certainly looked the part this afternoon, dressed in a one-piece outfit and beaming with energy as she ran on to the stage just after 12 p.m., but as her band kicked in with the Alicia Keys-co-written new single “Million Dollar Bill,” her voice began to crack and she sounded out of breath halfway through the track. It was a trend that continued throughout her 1998 hit “My Love Is Your Love” which also featured a brief cameo by her daughter Bobbi Kristina.

After taking a break to towel off and adjust her makeup, Houston appeared to choke up during an emotional version of “I Look To You,” which she delivered directly to her mother Cissy, who watched from the side of the stage. Following another brief side-of-stage break, the six-time Grammy winner apologized to the crowd for her voice and explained that she had recorded her forthcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey yesterday.
