I love the Simpsons…always have and always will. In this episode, the Simpsons get a brand new “Mapple” store in Springfield. MyPods, MyPhones…in Springfield everybody wants one and you’re nobody without one. Just like the real world. I kid…but not really.
I swear there’s nothing funnier that a gay male’s “O”pinion and Qaadir is happily giving his “O”pinion on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show. He even made a detailed list of things that got on his nerves about the show:
Topic 1.Early Climax
Topic 2. Kim’s tacky wig
Topic 3. Kim’s in studio/and Dallas Austin
Topic 4. Sheree look’s
Topic 5. Lisa’s a mystery and a little triflin
Topic 6. Deshawn’s the true peace keeper and she’s truly nieve[sic]
Topic 7. Nene’s my girl and she clocked the tea and stood her ground
Topic 8. Dwight’s tacky yacky last minute weave
Looks like Qaadir covered all the bases… and he even made time to throw on his own “tacky yacky last minute weave” to pay lil tribute to Beyonce. Video below: (more…)
Dwight Eubanks, the most fabulous Atlanta Housewife of them all, is so addictive that I can’t imagine him not being added as an official 6th on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. My vote would be to replace Kim’s lying “A”zz with Dwight’s tangy one, if it weren’t for the fact that her presence lends a bit of trailer park flava to the ghetto-fabulosity.
By the way…blame Fresh (Crunk&Disorderly) for discovering that happy-go-lucky Christmas card flick of Mr. Eubanks above. She’s admitted to her fixation of his flowing locks…but me? I’m enamored by his never ending wisdom! Check out a video I found of Dwight giving advice to one of his female clients. I was almost cosigning until I realized he was telling her to leave no good men alone and try dating females : (more…)
Seventeen Magazine named Beyonce 2008 Style Star Of The Year and the star attended the unveiling of Dec08/Jan09 cover. In the issue, she talks about her new double-album, I Am…Sasha Fierce, her marriage to Jay-Z, and explains how SHE is her worst competitor:
On finally settling down with Jay-Z: “I was 18 when we first met, 19 when we first started dating. There was no rush — no one expected me to run off and get married. I really don’t believe that you will love the same thing when you’re 20 as you do at 30. So that was my rule: Before the age of 25, I would never get married. I feel like you have to get to know yourself, know what you want, spend some time by yourself, and be proud of who you are before you can share that with someone else.”
On competion from other artists: “I feel like I’m my competition. I don’t try to compete with other people. I just try to better myself. I go and watch everything that I’ve done. I have my YouTube days, when I watch every performance, and I listen to my music, and I watch my videos to figure out what I need to do, what I need to fix, and how to become a better singer. I dunno Bey…You may need to check a few other YouTube performances before you rule anyone out:
In case you missed it, Beyonce appeared on Saturday Night Live this weekend (November 15, 2008) and promoted her upcoming solo joint I Am…Sasha Fierce. She and Justin Timberlake did an SNL skit mocking her “Single Ladies” video Saturday night. It was hilarious! Justin had me cracking up in that dayum leotard. ..and that lisp! “We’re the Danzzzers” OMG! I’m still laughing at those fools.
The singer also performed her two singles If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), watch two videos below: (more…)
