It’s only been a week since Justin Bieber’s haircut nearly shut down the social networking site Twitter, but it’s already been sold for tens of thousands of dollars!
The Bieb-ster shed his locks on February 21st and posted pics to the dismay of all his pre-teen fans who didn’t take the news too well.

Justin gifted a lock of his hair to Ellen DeGeneres in a signed box the day after his much-buzzed-about cut and it was immediately auctioned off on eBay last week.? Within an hour the bids were up to $10,000.
Yesterday it sold for a whopping $40,668. Per DeGeneres, the entire sum will be donated to the animal rescue organization The Gentle Barn Foundation, and the winning bidder will get to meet the teen superstar the next time he appears on The Ellen Show.
No word on who Wednesday?s winning bidder was just yet, but I suspect it’s some old creepy billionaire who likes boys. Who the hell else would buy a piece of hair for $40,000 bux??
In related news, Justin & Selena Gomez make a cute couple but his young fans are so jealous that they’ve threatened to kill her and rumor has it one of em punched her in the face!
These lil girls are treacherous!

There are a ton of crazy items for sale on ?eBay right this second. You can buy a piece of the Eiffle Tower,??bid on a used Ferragamo bag once carried by Jennifer Anniston or even ?purchase a Laker’s basketball personally autographed by Kobe Bryant. ?Most of us eBayers already know the joys of hunting for rare, dumb, crazy or even obscene items, but now people are even turning to the online magnet to place themselves for public auction. Well…at least one person is. And the bidding starts at .99 cents!
If you type in listing 150349995516, you’ll find Sherry Campbell’s photo and resume.?
“What do you do. You market yourself. You have to be able to sell yourself to be able to sell something for somebody else, so?I listed myself on eBay” says Sherry Campbell.
Campbell is a car salesperson in a tough predicament.?Instead of a steady paycheck, she’s now struggling on commission only. The breadwinner of her family, with four kids and a disabled husband, she says car sales along?U.S. 19 in Port Richey aren’t what they used to be.
So the 41-year old mom posted herself for auction on eBay, hoping for a bid from a better boss. The auction for a “hardworking, loyal, dependable employee” and “a real live person to work for you” starts out at ninety-nine cents. So far, there aren’t any takers. But Campbell’s hoping by June 11th she might have a buyer and a new sales job to support her family.
“So if there’s anybody out there that needs a car salesman, I’m your woman,” Campbell said.?You can find Sherry Campbell’s auction on EBay by searching “Employee for Hire!”?You can even get references on request.
But one thing, “No deadbeat bidders” please. (source)
