The Goodie Mob is holding a reunion show September 19th at the Masquerade. I posted the first of 4 TV spots announcing the show last week which featured Big Gipp. Now the 2nd drop has been released which features Khujo discussing what the reunion means to him. Stay tuned for the remaining two spots featuring T-Mo and Cee-lo.

The Goodie MoB is holding a reunion show September 19th and y’all already know I feel about all things ATL. I’m absolutely ecstatic! The first of 4 TV spots announcing the show has been released which features Big Gipp discussing what the reunion means to him. I’m assuming each of the other members will have their own segment as well.  I’ve never been so happy to see a commercial in all my days!

BlackOwned C-Bone aka Corey Andrews was first introduced to the mainstream rap game through his appearance on the Dungeon Family “Even in Darkness” album on the curtains closing track, “DF 2nd Generation” alongside Killer Mike, Slimm Calhoun and many more.  C-Bone continued to gain exposure through his numerous platinum selling guest appearances such as Purple Ribbon’s “Kriptonite”, OutKast’s “Gangsta Shit”, Big Boi’s “Tomb of the Boom” Yung Joc’s “Dope Boy Magic” and many more.

Blackowned C-Bone is currently working on his upcoming mixtape titled “The Strong Pack” and two singles from the project: “Star Wars” and “When the Beat Drop” have been circulating the net. You know it’s a hot record, because Big Boi himself picked it out to be the next single!

Peep Part I of the “The Untold Story of The Dungeon Family” which is featured in Vibe’s final issue. Will there be a Part II? Who knows… since Vibe Magazine folded and abruptly closed it’s doors a few weeks ago, it all falls on the shoulders of it’s founding father, Quincy Jones, who’s making an effort to save it:

“I’m trying to buy my magazine back now,” Jones told EbonyJet.com on Tuesday, according to an article posted on the Web site.

Vibe, one of the best-selling hip-hop magazines in the country, shut down on Tuesday. Its chief executive officer, Steve Aaron, said the magazine has a debt of “several millions of dollars” and also faced a declining market and decreased advertising revenue.

Jones, a music producer, said he envisioned an online-only future for Vibe. “They just messed my magazine all up, but I’m gonna get it back,” he said.

Jones established the magazine in 1993. It had a circulation of about 600,000, according to Aaron.

The closure eliminates jobs for all 48 staff members, Aaron said. The issue currently on newsstands, featuring Eminem on the cover, is Vibe’s last. (Source)

It was family fun day last night as Eddie Murphy’s new film “Imagine That” premiered in Atlanta. Lil Scrappy, Diamond and their two cuties as well as several other A-town celebs and their families were spotted at the theatre. Steve Stoute, Bob Whitfield, Tameka Foster Raymond, Stephon Marbury (Boston Celtics), Jason Richardson (Phoenix Suns) and more attended the screening.
