What a way to make up for all the drama that’s been going on in this city today! I’m excited to share with you guys Drake’s 1st single entitled “Over” from his highly anticipated 1st album “Thank Me Later”.

Boi-1da, the man responsible for “Forever” and “Best I Ever Had”, handles the production for the track, which is schedule for official release tomorrow.

I’m sure you’ve heard about all the drama that unfolded Saturday evening at the Civic Center but just in case you haven’t let me give you a brief summation: The Alpha Phi Alphas from Central State University won it for the men in the fraternity competition, while Zeta Tau Alpha, an all white sorority from Arkansas beat the prim and proper AKA’s from Indiana in a major upset.

That’s all. There’s really nothing else you need to know. Well… besides the fact that the crowd of historically Black fraternities (i.e. The “Divine 9″) didn’t take too kindly to the win. You could have literally heard a pin drop as Ludacris, the evening’s host, prepared to announce the 2nd place winner.

An unreleased verse for Drake’s highly successful hit… “Successful” dropped recently. Apparently this was supposed to be the third (and his final) verse on the song, which is preceded by the phone call from Drake’s father and followed by the Lil Wayne verse.

No word on why it was removed…

I just spotted some flashback video of a young(er) Drake showing off his crib, well actually his room in his mom’s crib. Shanell aka SNL’s celebrated her birthday with a party at Club Primal in Atlanta, Georgia. She was joined by her sis D. Woods (formerly of Danity Kane) and fellow “Girls Club” member Mika Means.
