The inaugural NBA Awards on TNT were held last night (June 26, 2017). Hosted by Drake, the show celebrated top performers from the 2016-17 season and honored other NBA luminaries.
Attendees included: Jada Pinkett Smith, Monica Brown, Chris Tucker, Dominique Wilkins, Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, 2Chainz, Nicki Minaj, Nick Cannon, Fabolous, Jussie Smollett, Bryshere Gray and many many more.

NBA Legend Dominique Wilkins’ court side brawl and his opponent’s mugshot has him labeled everything from ‘the next heavyweight champ’ to deadbeat.
Click here for the full story, but long story short, Nique landed a hard punch to the face of Rashan S. Michel, who was arrested and charged with simple battery after a brawl between the two occurred after Wednesday night’s Atlanta Hawks game.
Michel is adamant that their dispute was over a bad debt and it’s far from over!

Last night twitter was abuzz with activity after NBA Hall of Famer an former Atlanta Hawk Dominque Wilkins was allegedly attacked after last night’s Hawks game.
[Sidebar: The photo above was taken at last week’s game against the Bulls but I thought I’d use it since it’s oh so relevant to the story. 😆 ]
But I digress…
NBA.com’s Sekou Smith sent the following series of tweets last night alerting all to the altercation, stating Wilkins got in three “solid” punches during the brief fight, while his assailant landed none.
Well I dunno what Nique’ looks like this morning but his “attacker” looks like he got a severe beat down!!

I dunno what it is…but Dominique Wilkins doesn’t look a day over 49! The former superstar Hawks player/NBA Legend & Hall of Fameer Dominique Wilkins celebrated his big FIVE-Oh last week amongst friends, fans and privy guest.
Dominique’s 50th birthday bash was held at the Gold Room and Lounge and was hosted by music mogul Devyne Stephens of Upfront Megatainment. 100% of the proceeds from the event benefited the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and DeVyne Intervention.
VIP guests including R&B Artist Musiq Soulchild, Joe Johnson and Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks all came out to salute the Human Highlight Film.

Ciara posed with Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins during last night’s Hawks game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Atlanta was on fire last night as they broke the Cav’s 11-game winning streak with a 97-92 win. The Atlanta Hawks haven’t been the same since Nique left…but I digress! In light of this weekends NBA AllStar festivities, I thought I’d give you youngstas a lil history lesson… This slam dunk contest was held in Chicago back in 1988 and featured two star players…Michael Jordan (23) of the Chicago Bulls and Dominique Wilkins (21) of the Atlanta Hawks. MJ took the prize but Nique gave him a run for it!
Pure entertainment! I love it!! Check out those itty bitty shorts and Nique’s high top fade…oh, and let’s not forget that Mike did have hair once upon a time…
