Tyler Perry’s Fairburn, Georgia mansion has been on the market for quite some time now…but don’t fret! It could be yours for a little less than $3.7 million dollars. The home, featured in TP’s first feature film, “Diary of a Mad Black Woman,” was vacated a while back due to his lack of privacy after all you ATLiens found out the address and started doing drive-bys in the middle of the night. Tyler wants out, so he’s reduced the price so that one of you mini-ballers can live the fabulous life:

That same description sold me on my first home….well, minus the 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths…and the theatre, study and pool. Actually, the only line that sold me was the “minutes from the airport” part, I had no idea that “minutes from the airport” would mean “hours to work”….but you live and you learn. *shrugs*  Imagine…I traded all that to be near a Dillards and to fight crackheads over my mail.  The travesty!

DMX’s home is also on the market…and is selling for a lot less, partially because it was raided by the police (they blew off the front door) and has since been ransacked by thieves. The foreclosed Phoenix, AZ home of the embattled rapper was purchased for over $600,000 and is now being sold at $429,900. I guess cursing out judges has it’s privilages…cause DMX is now a free man!  The rapper avoided further jail time today (August 27) by pleading guilty to drug charges as part of plea deal.  He pled guilty to trying to buy small amounts of marijuana and cocaine in Miami last June and was released on time served and a $483 fine.

*Sigh*  Yes…you read right!  Rapper DMX lost it during his hearing in a Miami-Dade County courtroom Tuesday morning after learning he would spend another month in jail.

“I ain’t going back to no fc*king jail,” said DMX (aka Earl Simmons). “Oh, well that just ingratiated you to me,” said Judge Lawrence Schwartz. “I’ve never heard the F-word before, so it’s OK.”  The judge then warned Simmons’ lawyer that the rapper had better not curse in his courtroom again.

The mugshot above is from Simmons’ most recent arrest at a Miami-Dade County Wal-Mart earlier this month after failing to appear at a court hearing in Arizona.  He was also arrested in June for not having a valid driver’s license.   Check out the courtroom video under the cut: (more…)

My obsession with mugshots is taking up alot of posts this week…they’ve been coming back to back!  Earl Simmons, aka DMX, was arrested AGAIN last night (I told y’all the month wasn’t over yet…).  DMX was arrested in Phoenix and charged with a felony charge of false identity and it doesn’t look like he’ll be getting out any time soon! Somebody gave up on DMX (aka Earl Simmons) a long time ago.  Where is his wife & kids?  What about his family & friends? Lawd…where ARE they??? Do you guys realize that this dude’s been locked up 4 times in the last two months…(two in May 2008 and two in June 2008), and July isn’t over so I’m sure another one’s coming.  The most recent arrest (above) occured when DMX approached an undercover officer in Miami asking “where the weed at?“  I feel really bad for him… at 37 he is way to old for this ish.  Honestly, I think he and Amy Winehouse should get together and support each other in their recovery efforts.  What?  It’s just a thought.
