The 35-year-old rap superstar underwent a drastic transformation in order to play a football player stricken with cancer to the extent he almost looked on the brink of death in real life.
The star went on a strict liquid diet and spent three hours every day in the gym to drop over 60lbs from his normally muscular frame for his starring role in “Things Fall Apart”.
Rumors quickly spread that the images had been photoshopped but more screen shots from the film have been released and it doesn’t look like a photoshop job to me!!
That knee-grow was serious about that role!!!

In case you’re wondering why we haven’t heard much from Shawty Lo these days, it’s because the D4L front man has been getting his business in order.
With no label to fall back on, Shawty has been holding meetings with various label heads to figure out his next move and word on the curb is that he has his heart set on becoming the latest rapper on 50 Cent’s G-Unit roster.
Apparently 50 Cent may be looking to add another artist to his label after moving the G-Unit imprint to EMI last fall and founding G Note Records for his R&B endeavors. In a recent interview with VideoCity.tv, Lo reveals that he may be yellin’ ‘G-G-G-G-Unit’ IF an agreement can be reached between both parties.
I sat down and talked with probably about four or five labels. The best situation I think I like is I had a meeting with 50 Cent and G-Unit. I left New York last Wednesday, and we had a good six or seven-hour meeting. I think it went well.
I’m just waiting on his attorneys to get with my attorneys and I think we gonna concreek it…”
I don’t know what concreek is… but I’m assuming it means that Shawty and Fiddy are gonna finalize their negotiations soon.

Ciara and 50 Cent got into a battle of words via the social networking site, Twitter recently.
The pair, who were once rumored to be an item although they were rarely seen together, are apparently following each other very closely on twitter.
Fiddy visited the Playboy Mansion over the weekend and hit up his twitter to brag online about his “pimp’n.” He even wrote about gathering a few “hoes” on twitter.
That apparently struck a chord with his “ex” Ciara, who promptly struck back with a few subliminal messages. The two lovebirds exchanged pleasantries for quite some time, to the amusement of their legions of fans.
