“A” town favorite, Cee-Lo Green took over the controls to try out the new version of Nintendo’s WII Music video game. He looked like he was having a blast and almost made me want one. Funny thing is, my first thought was “Dayum…all the fake MySpace producers are gonna have a blast with this one.” I predict a top seller.
Hot new artist Asher Roth met an Atlanta legend recently at the studio. Cee-Lo Green the soul machine (aka 1/2 of Gnarls Barkley) took a moment to listen to chill with Asher and previewed some of his new music in the car. LMAO at Asher for taking his CD back!

Zillz again, World Leader of Site Savior Services, LLC., guestblogging for ATLien. Have you ever lost that “one”.
I have…twice. So as I mentioned on my site, I can truly identify with this song. Hell even more the concept. In fact when dude tells the young brown mahogany honey dipped tender morsel that’s about to become his ex that he will from now on measure the subsequent women in his life to experiences with her, I shook my head and was like “damn.” Not that I’m ashamed of it. I’m just sayin’. Don’t we all do that. It’s a defense mechanism. * shrugs * Sorry ladies. Danger Mouse & Cee-Lo once again!
Goodie Mob’s “Guess Who” was written as an ode to hardworking mothers everywhere. I couldn’t let this day pass without posting this song but since no video was ever made, you’ll just have to use your imagination (or just listen to the words like in the olden days). You youngsters who don’t remember Cee-lo before he hooked up with Danger Mouse need to take notes. This ish right here was the joint!
Happy Friday!! Check out the new video for “Run” by Gnarls Barkley! Love it! Absolutely LOVE IT!! Justin Timberlake makes a cameo in the video as an American Bandstand-like host. Justin also makes a guest appearance on their upcoming album, Odd Couple, which is due out April 8th.
**WARNING** This video may be hazardous to your health! No…for real. It’s true. It was banned briefly on MTV because of its strobe effects, which caused the clip to fail the Harding Test — guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures.
I really enjoyed this video! It brought back hella memories! What a great start to a wonderful weekend in the “A”!
It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a little “Soul Food” so as I head off to chillax with my Fam and Friends, I’ll leave y’all with a little taste of the “A”. Enjoy!
