The first season of WGN America’s Underground wrapped up last night wth bang!
In the final hour of Underground’s freshman season we learned the fates of several of our favorite cast members but we also got a glimpse into what’s to come for season 2.

Yes… there are White actresses out there who feel ‘some kinda way’ about Viola Davis’ speech and one of them couldn’t hold their tongue last night and hit social media with her outrage.
After Davis snagged the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama, she also snagged the hearts of many with a powerful speech about the lack of opportunity for Black actresses in Hollywood.

While the world cheered Viola’s powerful words, there was at least one person who was not a fan of Davis’ Emmys acceptance speech… soap star Nancy Lee Grahn (best known for her role as ‘Alexis Davis’ on General Hospital).
Gran wrote a series of tweets last night ripping Davis’ emotional, winning moment onstage during the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards and after receiving a ton of backlash for revealing her elitist attitude, she also issued an apology statement.
