A group of music industry Presidents and CEO’s convened on Hotel Palomar in midtown Atlanta last weekend to celebrate a reunion of sorts.  L.A. Reid, Steve Bartels, Bu Thiam, Devyne Stephens, Young Jeezy, Usher Raymond, Dallas Austin and more music industry decision makers all joined each other for an evening of fine dining at the hotel’s Pacci Ristorante for the annual “Dinner With The President”.

Rocker Lenny Kravitz’s “Let Love Rule” tour hit Atlanta Wednesday evening for a showstopping performance at the Tabernacle. I heard that dayum near all of Atlanta joined him onstage as Lenny allowed Dallas Austin, Jermaine Dupri, Nelly and even the Goodie Mob to hit the mic and rock with him during the show. I bet it was amazing!

The afterparty was held at a new spot called The Gold Room Though the Gold Room, located in the former Gold Club building on Piedmont Road.

It’s not open to the public yet, but the club has been hosting quite a few private parties for Atlanta insiders.  From the looks of the photos, Lenny Kravitz’ afterparty was just as hype as his concert at the Tabernacle. The rocker was again joined by Nelly, Dallas Austin, Jermaine Dupri and my boos the Goodie Mob.

Oh… and you know it wouldn’t have been a party without “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”’s Sheree Whitfield. I heard shes on the prowl looking for her next meal ticket just in case she’s booted from the show. (more…)

Kim Zolciak of the Real Housewives of Atlanta won her first award ever last week during the 2009 Fox Really Awards.  Kim received the “Fashionista” award for her choice of clothing that is 4 sizes too small hot stylish couture worn regularly on the hit reality series. Kim graciously accepted the award, which was given during red carpet arrivals and promptly reminded everyone that she and Big Poppa are officially over by flaunting her “engagement” ring worn on the wrong hand:

In the most recent epispode of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kim Zolciak sported a brand new “engagement” ring from her married boyfriend. As everyone silently giggled at the absurdity of Kim actually believing she was gonna marry a married man, she beamed with joy and bounced around as if it was all good. Now, since I don’t see Kim as being the smartest bird in the bunch, I can only assume that either Big Poppa’s wife got at Kim or her sugar daddy finally came to his senses. Whatever the case, Kim just revealed to Essence Magazine that the *cough* engagement is off and she now has a new boo:

I am not engaged to Big Papa! I got a commitment ring last year and so when I got this new ring, I was led to believe that his divorce was final. Who gives someone a massive rock and makes this commitment if he wasn’t serious? I found out that I was still on the same merry-go-round. If there is one thing I have discovered about myself from doing this show it is that I’m just far too trusting. I’m actually dating someone new and I’m extremely happy. He’s my age, from California and cute as a button. I gave Papa almost four years of my life, so now I’m just trying to move on.

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned from that experience?

I need to learn not to take everything at face value. I believe everything that people tell me. I wanted to believe that he was going through the steps for us to be together. I’m not a home wrecker because my husband did it to me. I would never intentionally do that to someone. I was planning my future and so excited because he was the love of my life. But as time went on, I started to wonder, why is this taking so long? I realized that I needed to really sit down and figure this out.

Real Houswives of Atlanta “star” Kim Zolciak seems to have fulfilled her dreams of posing nude for Playboy recently in her NOH8 campaign photoshoot. Wearing only her signature wig and duct tape, Kim is photographed lovingly shielding her nipples from the hateful words of the opponents of California’s proposition 8.

“I feel so strongly about gay rights for several reasons, most importantly two of my family members are gay and my Uncle John was personally affected. He was denied rights that all heterosexual Americans are allowed. I believe that regardless of your gender you should be able to choose who your partner is, whether it be same-sex or not. I am all for people being happy. I posed topless to make a LOUD statement to help this wonderful cause. Thank you NOH8 Campaign!” – Kim Zolciak

The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Season Two) is on an poppin and people are still wondering who Kim Zolciak’s Big Papa’s is. Well I tried to tell you a while back but in case you couldn’t read between the lines, Big Poppa is believed to be none other than Georgia real estate investor Lee Najjar.  Big Poppa came to his senses and kicked Kim Zolciak to the curb so now she’s single and fancy free while he’s home doing family stuff with the wife and kids.  It’s kinda sad though…especially since Kim is stuck with his name tatted on her ring finger.

Recently MTV’s Teen cribs featured Najjar’s expansive palatial estate with his two youngest children, Jamen (15) and Katelin (18), providing the tour of the insanely posh home.“Big Papa” himself and wife Kimberly even made brief appearances throughout the episode.

According to HomesOfTheRich the 16,000 + square feet home is located on W Paces Ferry Road NW in Atlanta, GA and has a massive foyer with grand sweeping staircase (Katelin says she will walk down these steps the day she gets married), a huge ballroom, a gourmet kitchen with adjoining breakfast room, numerous bedrooms suites, a recording studio, an amazing home theater with a wrought iron door, a swimming pool, a tanning bed room, a game room with ping pong table, a gentleman’s club with special filtration for smoke, a beauty and nail salon, a massage room, a moroccan room complete with a hooka pipe, a massive pool House, a basketball court, and an outdoor hibachi grill. Kim Zolciak & Kandi Burress of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta hit up Atlanta radio station Q-100 last week to hype the upcoming season of the show. I don’t even know why Kandi was there. Possibly to only add a lil color to the room since she didn’t really say much. I’m disappointed too…cause I wanted to hear more from her. The hosts seemed to be more interested in Kim anyway and didn’t even try to hide it. They inquire about Kim’s Big Papa tatt and she promptly refused to show it. She did, however show off her “engagement” ring that she says serves as their commitment to each other (although he’s still married…yada yada yada). Kim got the show crunk by clowing her former publicist/webmaster Jonathan Jaxson (aka ~ the guy who held her website hostage for non-payment). Jaxson still runs the site and recently put up the following message:

“Real Housewive’s of Atlanta’s” Kim Zolciak decided to blast me on-air today via The Bert Show on Q100 in Atlanta and I decided to not let her have the last word.

Especially when the wig wearing B*TCH had the balls to lie about me and expect me not to respond!!!

Like me or not, the truth must come out some where.

I really hope Big Poppa gets the picture soon. She is constantly running around on him. I had to lie for her too many times. He is a great guy. I hope he realizes her tactics.

For the world to hear, live and on the air…Jaxson spills the beans about Kim and puts all her Big Papa business on blast! From Kim’s responses (or lack thereof) it seems that Jaxson has the upper hand. All I know is, Kim better invest in better wig soon. She’s gonna need it if Big Poppa’s checks stop coming and she’s forced to return to that pole…
