You see tons of celebrity photos on all the blogs everyday, but do you ever wonder who’s behind the camera? You may recognize photo service names like WireImage or Getty, but there’s one name in particular that is making waves all across the country on the hip-hop scene…. Johnny Nunez! I’ve run into him quite a few times, but never really had a real conversation until recently. It’s funny how life has a way of connecting you with people. He’s a totally cool dude and is the man behind many of your favorite hip-hop celebrity photographs, sometimes capturing them in classic unconventional poses. Beyonce’s Dad Hit With Paternity Suit

Beyonce’s Dad, Mathew Knowles, may have been caught slippin! TMZ is reporting that a woman in her late 30s is claiming that Beyonce’s father/manager Mathew Knowles is the father of her unborn child.

According to the site, Alexsandra Wright, an L.A. resident and former actress, filed the case in L.A. County Superior Court. Wright, who is 6-months pregnant and currently works in the name branding business, filed the case last week, alleging that Knowles is the father. Sources say Wright is repped by Neal Hersh, who is currently repping Lamar Odom in the prenup negotiations with Khloe Kardashian. (Source)

Mathew, who has been married to Tina Knowles since 1980, has not commented on the case.

This is why Kanye wasn’t invited to Obama’s big healthcare speech. If only the MTV VMA people had done the same – at least they had the good sense to not invite Congressman Joe Wilson. (And Beyonce’s video *was* pretty awesome.)

In a surprise (or very well scripted) moment in time, Beyonce gave Taylor Swift the spotlight she’d lost to Kanye West’s earlier tantrum. This photo definitely tells a story and gives Beyonce another leg up in divadom. I applaud MTV for keeping us entertained yet again!

Video ~ “Sweet Dreams” ~ Beyonce

Beyonce has released yet another “classic” video. “Sweet Dreams” dropped a day sooner than MTV’s planned schedule. The video, directed by Adria Petty, begins with Bey having a soundless sleep and continues with a dance sequence during sunrise. “Sweet Dreams” is the 6th U.S. single from Beyonce’s third studio album “I Am…Sasha Fierce.”

Beyonce said she is taking “Sasha to the next level” with this video. She also describes it as more “graphic” than the others but from what I saw it was pretty much the same ole same ole. Don’t get it twisted, the ish is still HAWT but I just call it like I see it.

Video ~ Beyonce’s Tribute to Michael Jackson ~ Essence 2009

Beyonce was by far the main attraction at the 2009 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. News outlets reported that her scheduled night was the first sold out performance in the festival’s 15 year history. I attended the concert and traded in my nosebleed seats for a closer view courtesy of Honey Magazine. I know y’all think I’m kidding but I actually WON tickets in raffle during Honey Mag’s Motions in Beauty suite on Friday. The coolest thing about the entire weekend was my twitter connects keeping me in the loop.
