Alfamega has issued an OPEN LETTER to T.I. regarding all the drama behind his being let go from Grand Hustle. In it, Alfa addresses all the times he’s had Tip’s back and his disappointment in how everything went down.  Alfa was once coined “Grand Hustle Muscle” for his obvious devotion to T.I. and his well-being, and spills the beans about all of the altercations he played the strong arm.  I actually took a moment to read the letter last night and feel that he’s being genuine and sincere in expressing his disappointment and also in his revelations regarding incidents concerning his family, specifically his 15 year old daughter who Alfa says was confronted at the skating rink by some of Tip’s cohorts.

We all know that Tip is in jail and can’t really fight this battle right now, but Alfa is requesting at least a phone call from his former boss so that they can squash all the drama that’s going on in the streets:

Once this is published, I’m giving you a week to call me. Should you choose to not call me within that timeframe, I’ll know exactly where we stand. At that point, we’ll separate and we can get it off like Muhammad Ali v/s George Foreman in The Rumble in the Jungle. It will be what it is, you on your side of the ring and me on mine. Instead of a boxing ring, it’ll be the studios and instead of boxing gloves, it’ll be me lyrically pounding you.

I dunno what can come of this. I’m hoping for the best cause I know it’s real in the field and I don’t want to see these two Black men battle. Hopefully they can find some common ground and move forward peacefully.  Read Alfamega’s full 2 page letter to T.I. below:

Atlanta bred comedian Shawty (What Yo Name Is) seems a lil bit upset that comedian Lil Duval has transplanted into Atlanta and “stolen his swag.” Not only is he mad, but he has challenged Lil Duval to a battle to prove who’s the funniest between the two short men. Now…if you from the “A” you know that Shawty’s been around a looooong “A”zz time. Hell, his shawt “A”zz has been everywhere…he was even spotted chillin in Nelly’s infamous Tip Drill Video.   Shawty’s quick to admit that he may not be the funniest comic in the world but says he definitely can hold his own against Lil Duval and will put his own money up to prove it:

“I got $30,0000….tell him to put up $30,000. Winner take all. (For what?) A comedy battle. We can do it. We could do a reality show. It could be skits, jokes and the real sh*t in the club… Hood like! Or we could just go straight up on the stage goddammit!”

Shawty says he’s got that CASH money waiting but feels that Lil Duval is NOT gonna go for it. From listening to his rant, there seems to be a lil funnyman beef going on.  Shawty is a really funny dude and so is Lil Duval. I’d pay good money to see these two battle it out and I rarely pay for anything.

T.I. was interviewed by Neke  at 92Q in Baltimore recently where he discussed his two new singles and his involvment in the Hip Hop Caucus’ drive to promote voter’s registration.  Tip presented Keke with a shirt from his new clothing line bearing the words “Respect My Vote” and also gave her the shirt off his back (literally) cause she liked it so much.  Neke then tries to get Tip caught up by asking him if he called Shawty Lo to help in the drive, his reply… “Who?”…”Man Hell Naw!”" Check out the full interview under the cut: (more…)

…yes y’all.  They’re STILL at it!  The beef between T.I. and Shawty Lo continues.  This time it was T.I. who threw snide comments about Shawty Lo during an interview in Ohio:

Recently, rapper TI spoke with Cincinnati’s #1 Night show host Don Juan Fasho of 101.1 The WIZ-FM. TI talked about his new album, plans on returning back to Cincinnati for the first time after his best friend Philant was murdered there 2 years ago, and, of course, the beef between he and Shawty Lo. This is where the conversation got interesting as TI goes on to say that since he is the reason for all of Shawty Lo’s income this year he’s gonna “see if he can claim him as a dependent on his taxes!!!!!”

Hot 107.9 held it’s annual Birthday Bash last night and I’ve heard from numerous sources that both T.I. and Shawty Lo are still publically beefing.  During both performances, each artist took the opportunity to take jabs at each other.

I just got this in my inbox last night and I ALMOST didn’t post it….but I couldn’t do it to yall. You deserve to know the truth!!  One of my former favorite ATLiens, T.I. went on an Atlanta radio station recently to confirm that Shawty Lo is seeking his acknowledgment in the song “Dunn-Dunn“. In the interview, T.I. tells Shawty Lo to “get in the game first…” and to “do something worth considering first, and then (he) will be acknowledged“. T.I. also goes on to say that if it wasn’t for him, no one would know what Bankhead was. Now, am I the only one whose like WTF? Your azz just barely got outta jail and you are really feeling yourself. Tip, for real though…although this interview was very entertaining, I assure you, you have bigger fish to fry than to seek beef with ANYONE. Keep your nose clean…bruh. 4real. You cannot be that stupid.
