Seems Kanye’s lil stunt has made it all the way to the white house! During a CNBC interview on Monday, President Obama called hip-hop artist Kanye West a “jackass” regarding his behavior during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. (Click Here to watch the video of Kanye stealing the mic from Taylor Swift at the VMAs)
Sad thing is, Obama’s remark was actually made in an off-the-record portion of the interview that was tweeted …then deleted by ABC News reporter Terry Moran. Sadly for him, the results of his twitter stream are still searchable on the site: (more…)
This is why Kanye wasn’t invited to Obama’s big healthcare speech. If only the MTV VMA people had done the same – at least they had the good sense to not invite Congressman Joe Wilson. (And Beyonce’s video *was* pretty awesome.)
Shouts out to my Twitter fam for keeping this in circulation. Hilarious!
Two idiotic DeKalb County officers are being investigated for allegedly performing a background check on President Barack Obama. Officials would not release the names of the officers accused in the July 20th incident, but they each have been placed on administrative leave after the United States Secret Service notified county officials that Dekalb County computer equipment had been used to do a query on the President.
The officers have not been charged with any crime (yet) but the county’s Internal Affairs division is handling the official investigation. When questioned about the incident, William “Miz” Miller, DeKalb Public Safety director stated that such behavior would not be tolerated from their officers.
“As Public Safety Director for DeKalb County, I want everyone to know that we take these allegations very seriously,” he said in a statement. “We expect our officers to adhere to professional standards and departmental policy. Furthermore, we do not and will not condone the inappropriate use of county equipment or resources.” (Source)

“I am taking my wife to New York City because I promised her during the campaign that I would take her to a Broadway show after it was all finished,” ~ President Obama
President Barack Obama made good that promise last night. Our handsome president and his beautiful wife hit the town in New York City for date night. The two dined at a west village restaurant then headed to the Belasco Theater for “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone.” They’ve been catching flack from Republicans who have tallied the date to have cost taxpayers millions, but I, personally think that the two are entitled to live a normal life (whatever that means) and if “date night” costs us then so be it…
Meet 47-year-old Pamela Graf, a woman who has recently been arrested in Georgia for blaming Barack Obama for the cause of her house fire. Graf, a Forsyth County resident has been charged with arson in relation to the blaze, which occurred while she was allegedly in D.C., attending the Obama’s presidential inauguration. Graf originally claimed that her home was targeted by Forsyth County racists because she was an avid Obama supporter, but after a thorough investigation, officials revealed that Graf was actually involved in destroying her own home. Graf’s boyfriend, 46-year-old Steve Strobel, also was arrested.
Graf’s home was destroyed on Jan. 18 while she was allegedly in Washington, D.C., attending the inauguration. Officials found spray-painted graffiti that included a racial slur and ruled the fire an arson.
The fire, which was heavily involved upon the fire department’s arrival, resulted in a total loss of the structure. “These charges are based on information obtained through scene investigation, interviews and search warrants,” Fire Department Chief Investigator Steve Anderson said. “I would like to commend the entire Investigations Division staff for their fine and diligent work in this case.”Anderson noted the investigation is continuing and additional charges could be forthcoming.
Both Graf and Strobel were arrested on other charges February 3. Graf’s arrest stemming from drug charges unrelated to the fire and Strobel being arrested on charges of obstruction of justice and giving false statements. Both remain in the Forsyth County Detention Center. (Source)
