Aubrey “Drake” Graham is getting serious about the use of his signature phrase “Y.O.L.O.”.
“YOLO,” which is an acronym for “you only live once,” is typically used to rationalize impulsive or reckless behavior.

The phrase has become a staple in pop culture conversation and Drake feels he’s solely responsible for popularizing the term on his 2011 hit “The Motto” off his album “Take Care.”

Drizzy popped bottles of champagne all night long, and also performed a few of his hits for the packed house at Compound Nightclub.
In addition to his birthday, Drake also proudly celebrated reaching his goal of getting his high school diploma, which he finally completed last week.
Drake’s father, Dennis Graham popped bottles alongside him at the club and also on hand for the festive occasion were Maybach Music Group’s Wale, Josh Smith (Atlanta Hawks), Deelishis (Flavor of Love) and more.

Drake was reportedly facing arrest in the bottle throwing incident that occurred a few days ago, however those reports were soon disputed by NYC authorities.
The lastest news surrounding the incident is that police have shut down the New York City nightclub where Brown and Drake’s entourage got into a bottle-throwing brawl and Chris Brown has once again hit the tweets to relay his utter disgust at the media for “tarnishing” his image.

releases the visual for his hot single “The Motto” just in time for your Christmas eve get-together! Woo-hooo!
I love this song and if you’re like me, listening to it with earphones will make your right leg twitch like “Niggas in Paris” did that dude on the NYC subway . But I digress….
Aubrey teams of with his Young Money bossman Lil Wayne and fellow YMCMB member Tyga for the video as the three pay homage to the Bay area. He also tributes slain West Coast rap legend Mac Dre, by featuring his mom as the intro to the video.
“We only life once… that’s the motto!”
Of course a video shot in the Bay wouldn’t be official without E-40, who makes a cameo alongside Mistah FAB.
Drake is from Toronto, Wayne is from New Orleans, and Tyga is from Compton, but they show much love to the Bay as Drizzy drives around with plenty of scenic shots using the beautiful Golden Gate bridge as a backdrop.
