Welp… there’s at least one less restaurant I’ve got on my list in Atlanta and Gladys Knight’s Signature Chicken and Waffles on Peachtree Street is one of em!
The well-known soul food restaurant attracts a lot of tourists because of it’s popular name and location and customers have been known to wait for hours to get a table at the busy eatery.
The wait will probably be a whole lot shorter when news gets out that they failed their health inspection earlier this month.
Sadly, the popular dining spot, which bears the name iconic singing legend Gladys Knight, accumulated at least 15 violations during the inspection and only got a score of 56!

Clifford ‘T.I.’ Harris is branching outside of music and acting to embark on a totally new venture… food & customer service!
According to a press release received from Tip’s camp, Harris is now the proud owner of an undisclosed downtown Atlanta building and he’s currently rehabbing the spot to fit his vision of an upscale restaurant.

subject: Awful Experience At Atlanta’s Frank Ski’s Restaurant – Worst Service In The A
So I decide to take my aunt to get something to eat. I decided I would take her to Frank Skis. I had been there a few times and it was great it had been a while since I was there last and I have heard whisperings about the service becoming bad but I thought it would be okay. So wanting to surprise her with where we are going.
We pull up to Frank Ski’s and she is excited. So we walk in and are immediately seated in a booth on the wall. I see a few people at a table in front of us watching the game. As we are talking and getting settled one of the ladies who were watching the game comes over and begins rambling about the happenings of the game (I don’t watch football so I have no idea what she is referring to). After her rant and announcing that she is ready to go home she tells us that she is our waitress. We order drinks and water. The drinks come shortly but no water. She leaves quickly without asking if we were ready to order. We were.
About ten minutes pass and she is nowhere in sight. Continue Reading…
Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges’ Straits restaurant has been the site of many a social event in Atlanta, but it failed its last health inspection with a surprisingly low score.
Luda’s restaurant received a failing score of 67 and an unsatisfactory in a January 31st surprise inspection by the city.
Violations found during the inspection included inadequate food storage, unclean and unsanitary food contact surfaces, inadequate hand washing facilities, unclean nonfood contact surfaces, food not dated and marked properly.
