Monica sang her heart out on “Still Standing” and her talent spoke for itself.
The hometown singer is now up for two Grammy for awards, including Best R&B Album for “Still Standing” and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for the song “Everything to Me,” from the album.

Mo, who is newly engaged to Lakers baller Shannon Brown, said that although she was happy to be a stay at home mom, this nomination confirms she’s on the road to a comeback:
“I wasn’t expecting anything from this album other than me to reconnect with the fans, so it was just an honor to be thought of by your peers and the Grammy Association.
It’s just that confirmation that I needed that this is where I’m supposed to be at this point in my life, because I was very happy with being a stay-at-home mom.
So, to come back after such a long hiatus, it’s just a good feeling, and I’m still in shock. Nothing’s really set in.”

Real “Housewives” Sheree’ Whitfield, NeNe Leakes and a pregnant Kim Zolciak hit up Peachtree street in search of Ghosts.
The trio joined the cast of SyFy’s “GhostHunters” in an attempt to GHOSTBUST one of Atlanta’s most unique locations.
Atlanta’s Rhodes Hall was built in the style of a European Castle and is now owned by the state of Georgia. The building was a labor of love for the original owner and builder, furniture magnate Amos Rhodes and both he and his wife died in the Hall. It’s always been rumored to be hunted and frequently serves as a hunted house during Halloween.
Apparently, they couldn’t bear to part from their home after death! Claims are that a tall man (make that a tall, dead man) wanders about the building but his footsteps don’t make any noise.
Then, there’s a little girl that lingers in the foyer in a white dress. That same girl is often seen upstairs with a woman in a white dress. People hear conversations when there’s no one around. Touching, shadow figures, doors opening and closing, temperature fluctuations and a TV with a mind of its own are also on the docket.
The Atlanta Housewives ain’t afraid of no ghosts! They take the challenge and search for paranormal activity.

Clifford “T.I.” Harris is featured on the latest edition of BET’s Food For Thought, where he was grilled by Stephen A. Smith, Angie Martinez, Harry Allen and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
The interviews were conducted prior to Tip’s recent battles with the law, but he still manages to give you a bit of insight during the interview as to why he feels the prison system just isn’t for him.
“To be candid with you, I learned, man, prison ain’t for gangsters, prison is for losers,” he told Smith. “Gangsters find ways to avoid prison. Gangsters find ways to exit the game and legitimize their businesses and learn how to turn their strengths into enterprises.”
“If you look around in a prison, at least myself, I saw thieves, I saw burglars, I saw crackheads, I saw, you know, the same people that I would walk around on the street, and you would never associate with these people out of respect for yourself,” he added. “Ok, so if you’re on the street and you’re looking at these people and you are above their standards, how do you and them end up in the same place, one bed next to each other? I got to be better than that.”

B2K’s Raz B is at it again. In fact, he’s on an effin’ roll!
Not only did he just release a video where he provided graphic details of a “suck fest” between him and former B2K bandmate J-Boog, but now he’s released a new video in which he “secretly” records his friend Ray J.
Somewhere down the line, Raz B dropped Ray J’s name during his ongoing smear campaign against Chris Stokes, insinuating that Ray J once confirmed his gay accusations. I missed that segment of this ongoing saga but apparently Ray J wanted Raz to clear his name and to clarify the situation.
In this new video, Raz B promises Ray J that he plans to “clear that up real quick for you,” by releasing a brief statement, but we all know his plan was to record the call and put the video online. Continue Reading…
Kanye West and his rumored boo Selita Ebanks did some good in the hood yesterday (November 30, 2010) at the New Yorkers for Children “Wrap to Rap” benefit at The Ainsworth in New York City.
Kanye may get a bad wrap for being a bit egomaniacal, but when it comes to Christmas he’s no Grinch. The “POWER”-ful artist as well as Runaway co-star Selita Ebanks donated their time to wrap gifts to be distributed to needy children.
They definitely have the holiday spirit…. I wonder if they did a G.O.O.D job.
