These few photos have been revealed to have been Michael Jackson’s final images captured on film. The photo above is from a handout photo provided by AEG/Concerts West and was taken May 6, 2009 as Michael prepared for the “This Is It” London concerts. The photos below were taken during his last concert rehearsal at Staples Center on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.
“I am devastated by the sudden loss of ‘The King of Pop,’ who I have photographed numerous times since the Victory Tour in the ’80s. When he hit the stage at rehearsal, I was thrilled that the magical Michael Jackson was BACK!!! I felt the same adrenaline rush as when I photographed him the first time moonwalking. I was so looking forward to shooting the O2 Arena performances with the amazing production that Kenny Ortega and AEG put together with Michael for his fans.” ~ Kevin Mazur, Celebrity Photographer and Founder of WireImage.com

Atlanta’s own Keri Hilson performed on her first major awards show wearing her ode to Michael Jackson….glittery socks and all. The diva performed “Turnin Me On” and “Knock You Down” and for her tribute to the King of Pop, Keri performed a brief dance number while Kanye’s verse “Bad Real Bad…Michael Jackson” repeated in the background.
I was waiting on Keri to belt out a classic MJ tune but was disappointed (yet again) all I could do was yell at the screen:
“Dance…Spin…Grab Yo Crotch… SOMETHING!! Dayum!”
Remember that game where you fell backwards hoping someone would catch you?
Keri obviously has no problems with trust…
More flix and Keri’s performance video under the cut:
Keyshia Cole performed her hit “Trust” featuring Monica last night during the 2009 BET Awards. It’s undeniable that both of these two have mad talent and they’re actually really close friends, but the overwhelming consensus amongst anyone who watched the show was that Mo totally stole the show! Even Jamie Foxx couldn’t contain himself during the aftershow, where he begged Monica for new album RIGHT this very minute. Monica was her usual glowing self and took all the compliments in stride stating that she’s more than ready for her comeback. Check out a few flix from the show below:
The stage may have said “Keyshia Cole” but the set was OWNED by Monica!
I love you Keyshia…but you got ganked!
…and Keyshia seemed not to mind. She was looking like “B*tch you betta sang!”
If you missed it, peep out the performance below and judge for yourself…I know I’m a bit biased but check out some of the faces in the audience as Mo ripped it. Even Beyonce had to give her some props!:

Tiny & Toya hit the 2009 BET Awards show last night. Tiny accepted T.I.’s viewer’s choice award for “Live Your Life” and even prepared a min speech for the event. It was the first time Tiny had ventured out without Tip and although she admits to being nervous as hell, she had her BFF Toya to lean on. Check out a few of Toya’s candid twitpics from the event below:

Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins have issued statements regarding the death of Michael Jackson. It’s still an emotional time for everyone and the entertainment industry is still in shock. Check out what they had to say below:
“I think everybody who knows me, knows I love me some Michael Jackson. I cannot believe that the man i jokingly call my husband, has passed away. I am beyond lucky to have met such an extraordinary human being. His God given talent was by far the most beautiful gift we’ve ever seen and probably ever will see. I don’t know when my tears will stop but I do know this, there’s only one Michael Jackson..he was and will FOREVER be The King of Pop.” ~ Chilli
“I like many other artist have had the pleasure and opportunity to work with Michael. I used to try to dance & dress like him when I was a child, so to meet him was a dream come true. He is the epitome of a true entertainer. He has changed not only the music industry but the world. His work will live forever from generation to generation. He has always been #1 and will always be. There will never be anyone during our life time that will have such an impact on our lives the way he has.” ~ T-Boz

In Case You Missed It:
Katherine Jackson has been granted temporary guardianship of Michael Jackson‘s three children by a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff. Although she has been granted guardianship, the Judge rejected Mrs. Jackson’s request to serve as administrator of the children’s estate.
Mrs. Jackson filed a petition Monday asking the court to appoint her as guardian of Jackson’s three children, which states the kids have “no relationship with their biological mother,” Debbie Rowe. Michael has two children with Rowe –Prince, 12, and Paris, 11. His third child, Prince Michael II, 7, was born to a surrogate (the mother’s identity was never revealed). The court filings Monday list her whereabouts as “unknown.”
Katherine Jackson also filed another court action Monday, seeking to take control of her son’s estate, Continue Reading…
