After a five year hiatus and speculation that they had broken up, at least three of the four members of the R&B group 112 have reunited to record a follow up to their 2005 release Pleasure & Pain, which went gold in the U.S.
Group member Quiness “Q” Parker broke the news earlier this week via his Twitter page:
Its good to see that they’ve worked out their differences. If you recall, Michael Keith formerly accused two of his fellow bandmates, Q Parker and Daron Jones, of taking unfair shares of royalty checks. Keith revealed in a 2008 interview:
I’m not sure what the status is of the other three members, but myself, I am no longer in 112. I had to leave because I found out that a certain member of the group took my publishing check.
It was made clear that it was intended for myself and another member, Slim [Marvin Scandrick].
At that time, Mike was also asked about a 112 reunion where he stated, “I’m going to be honest with you and say I’ve grown and lived long enough to never say never, so if that was to happen in the future I will welcome it under the right circumstances.”
I guess the time is now…

Donnell Jones is back. He’s older and wiser and he’s rockin a brand new hat! After a years long hiatus from music, the crooner who brought us ‘Where I Wanna Be” returns with a self produced track entitled, “Love Like This”, which is a smooth classic R&B track reminiscent of R. Kelly in his prime.
As to why he chose to take a break from music Donnell explains:
I was in a horrible situation with Jive. They have too many R Kellys, Justin Timberlakes, Ushers, Anthony Hamiltons… I couldn’t get the push I needed.
When LaFace shut down all the artist went haywire.
Donnell recently performed his hit “Where I wanna be” on the Mo’Nique Show and it was a bit hard to watch. Check out that performance + his new video for “Love Like This below: Continue Reading…
