Beyonce, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige & More Support “Thriving Child” Book Launch… [PHOTOS]

Beyonce was all smiles as she spent a bit of quality time with hubby Jay-Z and Mama Tina Knowles yesterday (May 9, 2012).

Just a day earlier Queen B showed her goodies in a see through dress at the Met Costume Gala alone while Jay-Z tended to baby blue, but last night she was in demure wife mode as the couple paired up to attend Antonio “L.A.” Reid’s book launch event for his wife Erica Reid’s book “The Thriving Child.”

The event was held at a private residence in New York City and Bey, Jay, Mama Tina, Mary J. WhatsInTheNewChicknWrap Blige and more all came through in support.

Confessions: Usher & Grace Miguel Talk Love, Life & Management in Billboard Magazine

As Usher Raymond and his ex-wife Tameka Foster Glover Raymond continue to battle it out in court over the custody of their two young sons, there is another battle that’s already been won.

Grace Miguel, Usher’s boo/manager has managed to not only keep the celeb entertaining the masses, but she’s also won his heart.

Usher and Grace were 1st romantically linked while they both were still married to other people. Miguel has two teen kids and the two managed to sneak around until Miguel divorced her husband to be with Usher full time.

There were rumors that Miguel was forced to play the background because Usher is more “marketable” as a single man, but apparently that’s all changed and they’re officially an “item”.

In the recent issue of Billboard magazine, Usher and Grace ‘confess’ that they have mixed business with pleasure and it’s a blend that’s surprisingly been working for them for quite a few years now.

While we may will probably never see Janelle Monae in a ball gown, this neatly presented pantsuit is close enough.

Monae hit the carpet of the Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum last night looking picture perfect in an all black satin ensemble.

The “tightrope” songstress looked absolutely amazing and seems to have toned down on the black/white tuxedo gimmicks and opted to go a more feminine route.

Reality show vixan Omarosa was spotted strolling the streets of La La land with her boo, actor Michael Clarke Duncan.

The two have been a couple for quite some time now and are even rumored to have been already dating during the days of Omarosa’s Trump sponsored TVOne dating show, “Ultimate Merger”.

If you were one of the 10 people who watched the Ultimate Merger, you may recall that Omarosa opted out and chose NOT to select a winner, ultimately leaving the show without making a merger.

The final two bachelors, veteran soul singer Al B. Sure and R&B newcomer Ray Lavender could probably care less about the situation though… as long as the check cleared.

Ex-Atlanta “Housewife” DeShawn Snow Hosts ‘Lil Shawnee’ Book Signing… [PHOTOS]

DeShawn Snow formerly of The Real Housewives of Atlanta recently held an exclusive book signing for her new children’s book series.

The event, held at Mingles Bar & Lounge in Downtown Atlanta Thursday, May 3, 2012, was atteneded by several of Snow’s close friends and supporters and even Pat Houston (Whitney Houston’s former manager/sister in-law) stopped through to show support.

As you know, the ex-RHOA reality star has the esteemed title of being the first wife booted from the popular reality show and at the time, it was due to the fact that her storybook storyline during the show’s first season was a bit too boring.

Apparently Bravo gave up on DeShawn too soon because her life changed drastically once the cameras stopped rolling and after suffering through a tumultuous divorce from her cheating retired NBA baller hubby, DeShawn shed the baggage and a ton of weight and has now renewed herself as a children’s book author.
