Model turnt Actress turnt television host, Tyra Banks is due in court this week to testify against a Georgia man accused of following and harrassing her from Los Angeles to NYC. Banks, photographed above during the “Broadcasting Reality: Show Me The Money!” Luncheon is scheduled to testify in a Manhattan courtroom where Brady Green goes on trial on charges of stalking her.

Green, a resident of Dublin, Ga., is accused of following Banks from coast to coast since January of last year. He was arrested in a McDonald’s near the Manhattan building where “The Tyra Banks Show” is taped after he attempted to see Tyra on March 18, 2008.

According to the criminal complaint filed against Green, he had been stalking Banks since January of the 2008 and had attempted to contact Banks by appearing at both her Los Angeles and NYC studios, making repeated phone calls and sending multiple letters to her workplace and even having flowers delivered to the runway star. At the time of his arrest, he was found carrying a large duffel bag full of magazine clips of the model, along with notes he had written himself that documented several of his attempts to contact Banks.

Banks told the Manhattan District Attorney’s office she was “in fear of physical injury, serious injury or death” as a result of Green’s actions. Shortly after the incident, she was granted a restraining order against him. Green, 38, has pleaded not guilty to stalking, harassment and criminal trespass and faces up to 90 days in jail if convicted by Manhattan Criminal Court Judge James Burke, who is hearing the case without a jury.

Buffie has created a new MySpace Page that focuses on workouts instead of nekkid pics and also appeared on The Tyra Show a few months ago as Tyra was celebrating BFA’s (”Big Fat Asses”). During her interview, Buffie discussed about how she went to a nutritionist when she felt she was too thin, and she went from 119 to 170.  Tyra’s crazy azzz could NOT stop talking bout that girl’s booty. Tyra Banks and about 100 other retired or irrelevant models took to the streets of New York today to celebrate Vogue Italia’s first ever all Black Issue.  Jessica White, Selita Ebanks, Pat Cleveland, Toccara Jones, Veronica Webb, Chanel Iman, Tyra Banks, Beverly Johnson, Noemie Lenoir and Stacey McKenzie and more took part in the celebration.  I’m sure you already know that the only reason Tyra’s celebrating is because she’s in it!  Check out a few flix from the issue: (more…)

It’s now possible that Flavor Flav, Tyra Banks and maybe even my favorite detective, Caroline Mason could win an Emmy award!  The Academy of Arts & Sciences recently announced that reality tv shows are now eligable for the Emmys!

A category recognizing “outstanding host for a reality or reality-competition program” was created by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and will be presented at the 60th annual Emmys in September.

The award recognizes that reality TV has become “an integral part of television and our culture,” John Shaffner, chairman and CEO of the TV academy, said in a statement Tuesday announcing the new honor. (Source)

Gary Coleman and his wife appeared on the Tyra Show today.  In case you’re wondering…he’s not married to Steve Harvey…although I do think Gary’s prone to swing that way!   Honestly, I haven’t had time to look at the clips…but I’m sure they’re quite entertaining
