Forever” will appear as part of a collection of tracks inspired by the film (due in theaters October 2), with the soundtrack coming September 29 on Interscope Records. Polow Da Don will executive produce the set, which will also include songs by T.I., Mary J. Blige and Young Jeezy. “Forever” was originally only going to include Drake and Kanye West.
This is the original verse from S.L.U. which apparently didn’t make the cut. I dunno which one is better cause I haven’t taken the time to compare the two, but a T.I. verse is always welcome over hurrr….
Usher graces the August/September cover of Uptown Magazine’s 5th Anniversary “Style” issue looking marvelous as usual. Check out a few flix from the feature:
It was also recently announced that the owners of Uptown Magazine have purchased the now defunct VIBE Magazine. So keep an eye out for the new & improved VIBE coming soon. Usher’s upcoming “Monster” project is complete and expected to drop late this fall. I got a track called “Be” in my inbox a while ago and thought this would be the perfect post to share it with you. Take a listen:
Check out this hot new track from Kandi Burruss called “I Like Him” which features Rick Ross and Kandi’s good friend Rasheeda Georgia Peach. I received this hot song directly from Kandi herself during The Madden NFL 10 MVP Suite a few weeks back and thought I’d share it with you. Kandi’s been busy in the studio working on her comeback CD and this track was produced by none other than Nittti himself (yep…it’s a Nitti beat!). Feel free to take a listen and give your constructive criticism. I’ll be sure to pass it along…
Chris Brown is a changed man and he’s singing about it. A leaked song appeared over the weekend where C-Breezy sings about how everybody hates Chris but he’s changed and is gonna “make it up to you.” Initially his label sent out a message that this song was old and had nothing to do with the Rihanna drama, but a few sources say the song is legit. Check it out below:

I heard Free’s version of The Dream’s “Rockin That Thang” last night while in my car. I totally fell in love with it! In her version Free’s telling her man to “beat it like a drum” and sings his praises as he follows her instructions. Check it out below:
