“Right By My Side” ~ Nicki Minaj ft. Chris Brown & Nas [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

Nicki Minaj released the official video for her next single, “Right By My Side” ft. Chris Brown yesterday (May 15, 2012).

The Benny Boom produced visual features Nassir Jones aka Nas as Minaj’s love interest with Brown crooning nearby.

It’s all pretty rosy as the lovesick couple share deep conversation and an inside joke as Nas hands his honey a silver dollar, which she flips into a wishing well. The clip has all the makings of a Nicholas Sparks romance flick: There’s PDA, hand-holding, shopping trips and outdoor lunches. In one scene, Nas — who sports his trademark half-moon Caesar and big-framed 1980s-inspired glasses — surprises Nicki with a new car, topped off with a pink bow, of course. The reigning rap queen is so excited she leaps into his open arms.

When Chris Brown shows up for his guest verse and duet-styled hook, he is set outside of the video’s story line, delivering passionate performance scenes but never interrupting the two lovebirds. Breezy is no doubt a superstar, but he sits as a third wheel on Nicki and Nas’ romantic ride.

Clifford ‘T.I.” Harris has released “Like That” the 2nd single from his upcoming album “Troubleman.”

Tip’s first single, Love This Life, dropped a lil over a month ago.

For those of you who say Tip hasn’t f*cked the city up yet…. well, I guess it’s coming soon.

Remember Jarvis? Ludacris signed him to DTP a while back and never really did anything with him. He had a nice voice and all but he was kinda reminiscent of Trey Songz 1.o with the braids and all.

I think shedding their cornrows must be a rite of passage for all young singers. Trey Songz did it… Lloyd did it… and now Jarvis has finally done it.

Jarvis shows off his new image in the music video for his independently released single “Make a Little Room.”

In the visuals, the R&B crooner offers room in his heart and bed for a special lady, but she is tangled in a web between two men and can’t make a decision on which one to love.

While I was chllin on the West coast this weekend, I kept hearing this banging beat. About the 3rd time I heard the song on the radio, I realized it was 2 Chainz rapping. Then I had to do some digging to find out it was The DPG’s aka The Dogg Pound’s new song “I Know You Like”.

[Sidebar: For some strange reason I keep getting Future and 2 Chainz mixed up. Maybe it's the hair or the fact that they both have hot music.... but whatever the case, I argued someone DOWN the other day that Future's real name was Tity Boi. Ummmm.... try not to judge me!]

Brian McKnight pairs with FunnyOrDie for his new unofficial official video for the controversial adult song he premiered on twitter a few weeks ago.

While Tank calls the song disrespectful, it seems to have picked up quite a bit of steam and “IfUrReady2Learn” has actually put McKnight back on the map.

Sexy crooner Tank pairs up with The Kaaang… rapper Clifford “T.I.” Harris for the remix of “Compliments,” a single from Tank’s forthcoming album ‘This Is How I Feel.’

The song features Tank’s writing partner, Kris Stephens and the trio got together recently to film the video for the new tune.

On his thoughts behind the song, Tank says:

“Every guy should befriend a woman who’s smart and has been through enough that she can help you navigate the women in your own romantic life.”

As you know, Tank is not one to hold his tongue, as evidenced by his response to Brian McKnight’s “Adult” themed song…

Goodie Mob Performs ‘FIGHT TO WIN’ on The Voice… [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Cee-Lo Green, Khujo, T-Mo and Big Gipp, the foursome known as Goodie Mob, confirmed the return they’ve been working on as they performed a new song, “Fight To Win,” during last night’s episode of “The Voice.”

Rocking “all GOLD everything”, the foursome donned gold armor-like suits, as they performed their first single in over 10 years on the stage of NBC’s hit vocal competition show amidst broken roman pillars and billows of smoke.
