Zahara Jolie-Pitt and her fine and famous dad, Brad Pitt, enjoyed a father daughter day at the Aime and Marguerite Maeght Foundation in Saint Paul de Vence, France on Wednesday (August 13).  Brad, Zahara and his parents toured the museum together, while I assume Angelina stayed home with the other youngsters.  I try…lawd knows I try…not to say bad things about people, but why must the adopted Black children of celebrities be forced to walk around looking like orphans?  Zahara is a really cute lil girl and she deserves to have her hair combed!  Can somebody please step up and help Angelina?!

OK…there are several things wrong with this situation. First and foremost, the reporters show the dude’s MySpace pictures but they protect the girls. WTF?! Aren’t they all equally at fault? Why were these lil hookers protected? They weren’t tryna protect their identity when they were posting hoe ads on Craigslist! *sigh* I blame the parents.

DJ Kay Slay has joined in on all the Jermaine Dupri & Greg Street drama. Here we go. I guess it’s war now! Buffie the Body’s play-play baby daddy, DJ Kay Slay wants to throw his hat in the ring and jump on the Bash JD bandwagon. He co-signs with Street about the Janet situation and also goes on to clown JD about how everything he touches turns to sh*t. He also co-signs with ME by saying “Too many of you n*ggas are f*ckin each other“… yep. He said it!

Remember the 7 year old kid who stole his grandmother’s Durango cause he wanted to do “Hoodrat Stuff”?  Well he’s back… this time little Latarian Milton tried to beat up his grandmother in a Walmart after she wouldn’t by him no dayum chicken wings. I don’t understand why this is news and why they continue to let this child speak on television…this time he goes on camera to say he’s sorry for what he did to his grandmothers car and he’s sorry for what he “did to the people in the hospital.” He is now being evaluated for mental problems but this kid just needs a good ass whoopin…

Beyonce’s House of Dereon has launched “Dereon Girls” and while the clothes themselves may seem innocent enough (althought a bit trendy),  the advertisements have made waves across the net with bloggers everywhere ranting about the young girls featured in the ad posed provocatively in full makeup and high heels.   I vote “no” to this nonsense.

Yesterday, I took it upon myself to write a post about the disgusting racist attitude of the owner of Mulligan’s Food & Spirits who proudly sold t-shirts displaying the image of Curious George as Barack Obama.    I submitted the pics and the post to Digg.com and to my suprise, encountered a slew of traffic.  In a matter of minutes, beginning last night at 10pm, StraightFromTheA.com had over 11,000 hits from digg and today there’s been over 50,000.  Because of the unusual amount of traffic, the site has been slower than usual and it’s been difficult to post.  There has also been a ton of racist comments and emails received and because of this I am taking the day off today.   I am saddened by the blatent displays of ignorance but not suprised, however…I need to get my mind right before I put any words in writing.

I want to apologize to my loyal readers and hopfully things will be resolved by tomorrow.

I just got this in my inbox last night and I ALMOST didn’t post it….but I couldn’t do it to yall. You deserve to know the truth!!  One of my former favorite ATLiens, T.I. went on an Atlanta radio station recently to confirm that Shawty Lo is seeking his acknowledgment in the song “Dunn-Dunn“. In the interview, T.I. tells Shawty Lo to “get in the game first…” and to “do something worth considering first, and then (he) will be acknowledged“. T.I. also goes on to say that if it wasn’t for him, no one would know what Bankhead was. Now, am I the only one whose like WTF? Your azz just barely got outta jail and you are really feeling yourself. Tip, for real though…although this interview was very entertaining, I assure you, you have bigger fish to fry than to seek beef with ANYONE. Keep your nose clean…bruh. 4real. You cannot be that stupid.
